    This is very close to home for me and mine. We had a house in Warburton during these fires and though we didnt lose our house the fires came within 1 km. We had mixed feelings about fight or flight for the weeks following. We were given the choice others never had.

    I watched the special on ABC last night and then had nightmares all night thinking about being faced with that decision to stay or go - life or death. Just unimaginable.
