Lists

1. Exercise:
I dumped it.
You probably predicted it.
I bought a FitBit, convinced I would use it - and I don't.
I don't know how to fit it into my life.
Do you find it tough?

2. A haircut:
It's been months since my last.
Maybe it will give me an overhaul.
Chop. Chop.

3. Salad days:
I've got some ideas.
And a new Tupperware Mandochef.
I need to get cracking. I need to take lunches to work.

4. Should I get into smoothies?
Tell me dear reader.

5. Christmas shopping:
It's on my mind.
I've bought one present.
I need some lists.

What's on your list?

My last haircut was when the toddler was 10 weeks old. He's 19 months old now. I did cut it myself but I need one too.

I've been eating a salad everyday for all over November as a little challenge. See my insta feed or my Pinterest board " I'll have the salad" if you want some ideas.

Christmas.... I'm a bit " meh " this year but I'm trying to get into it. Started shopping last week but keeping it totally low key.

Exercise - finding it so hard to fit into my life. I had the running gear out for a 5am Monday run and then remembered I had to be at work early to be home in time for a function that was in my diary weeks ago, and the week has pretty much continued to roll like that. I need to push away other people's demands on my time.

Haircut - oooh, I did have one of those, about eight weeks ago. The eyebrow and lip wax have been a tad longer. I know, right?

Salad - I am checking out Reannon's Pinterest page right now.

Smoothies - do it. So many greens all in one glass.

Christmas shopping - we did the draw from the hat a few weeks ago and even with only one immediate family member to buy for it's still stressful.

Argh lists! My life revolves around lists!!
Definitely try smoothies, they make you feel like your giving life 110% and oh Christmas, why must you come around so quickly every year? You'd think I'd be prepared cos I know it's right where it is every year, but NO!

My yoga teacher recently told me that "10 minutes every day is better than 40 minutes 3 times a week". Aim for a little bit each day and increase (if you can) over a month or so. Feels more attainable when I look at it like this x

I like that. It definitely feels achievable!! Thanks Kate.

I am going to find your Pinterest board and follow your salads avidly. I need some inspiration. BTW - I read your blog post today. It was so beautifully written, such a beautiful sentiment. My goodness, it brought more than a tear to my eyes. I will come over and comment. I read it on the iPad and it wouldn't work. xxx

I've been sick for three weeks so haven't been able to exercise which makes me feel miserable. Not that I'm an exercise nut, but I love how a morning run clears my head or a walk gets me thinking bigger. Hope you find your mojo; that ten minutes a day sounds like a good idea.

Salads and smoothies also sound great and a lot like summer.

I'm actually excited about Christmas this year. I've just finished reading The Happiness Project so I'm trying to reframe how I think about it and have fun. Online shopping helps!

Well, I'm up making brownie biscuits for my daughter's fete...leaving things to the very last minute, baking at midnight, catching up on blogs I like, regretting eating so much dough. That's my list!
