She looks...I think that cat woman lady is so scary. She looks like Mickey Rourke's twin.
I will always love Audrey Hepburn. I loved her young and I loved her even more when she aged gracefully with her lines on her face, her hair in a bun and doing so much for UNICEF. They don't make them like they used to.
I am scared of needles to begin with, let alone one coming near my face. But I do confess to almost ordering the wrinkle removing cream that you put on your eyes that I saw one morning on Kerry Anne.
I put it down to pre-holiday jitters and worrying about putting my body in togs. I figured if people saw my lily white skin wrapped in bathers looking like a sausage, I could make up for it by having wrinkle free eyes.
That was all cancelled out when I saw the wrinkle cream was $200. Too much good ice-cream could be eaten for that amount!suzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01663399157680843604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-23706764093803769762009-12-31T12:44:57.692+11:002009-12-31T12:44:57.692+11:00I vaguely remember she was trying to look like a c...I vaguely remember she was trying to look like a cat, maybe not or maybe she dressed in cat suits. I wish I could do it, but the thought of wilingly allowing a medical procedure when there is nothing actually WRONG with me is so very self-indulgent. Surely there are more important things to do with time, money and medical skills.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-45528228777450649202009-12-30T21:16:54.112+11:002009-12-30T21:16:54.112+11:00i completely agree about nicole kidman! it's f...i completely agree about nicole kidman! it's funny, she always points out in interviews how she would "never" have anything done, but it's just so blatantly obvious. i find i dislike her more and more as time goes on.shanhttp://somethingapropos.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-84420786211187036322009-12-30T19:22:38.826+11:002009-12-30T19:22:38.826+11:00no, no and no....i hate botox/cosmetic surgery (fo...no, no and no....i hate botox/cosmetic surgery (for non-medical conditions that is...)with a passion. have ranted at many a dinner party regarding it...i hate that women feel they have to do this to themselves to be accepted or worse, acceptable to themselves. to reach some unattainable perfection that we are constantly being fed by mainstream media. i love beauty as much as the next person, whatever beauty is. it's all relative. i was so thrilled to see anna wintour's and grace coddington's lined faces in 'the september issue'.
believe me, it's not easy to look in the mirror and accept the lines creeping in, but they are my life, my living, my sitting in the sun for too long without sunscreen as a kid, not wearing moisturiser or cleaning off make up before bed until i was 30! god only knows how many lines my face accumulated when i gave birth, naturally, twice to posterior babies!!!! and how many more lines i now have as a result of rearing the little guys while running a business!!! nope, i am not going to look like a former wax model of myself. i am grateful for the face i have and the life it has lived. i will continue to seek out succulent wild aging women - helen mirren, lauren hutton, julieanne moore, my mum, my aunts etc.
ps. my mates know that if they want to get botox or whatever, they will never hear a negative peep from me regarding it, each to their own(!) xShelley Trbuhovichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00081658528934705521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-64429170008617696332009-12-30T17:15:25.644+11:002009-12-30T17:15:25.644+11:00Ask me again in 20 years, but I don't think I ...Ask me again in 20 years, but I don't think I would let needles and scalpels near my face or my body for anything other than necessary procedures!Christina Lowryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18370046598325657449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-33292074768065864602009-12-30T16:45:32.851+11:002009-12-30T16:45:32.851+11:00I couldn't do it.

It makes me sad they feel like they have to do that to themselves.
Me what do I think well, as some one who is 29 and many people think is 16, I would love a bit of ageing.
But I have to confess I was born with a clef pallet and a really wide nose, ( I had two nose bones) and I got teased a lot because of my square nose and scar from the clef pallet and they called me Bumnose. I also couldn't breathe through my nose. So when I was fifteen I had plastic surgery to have one of the bones removed. In a way it was more medical , but I hated my nose and it always wanted to change it so I like some is ok, and depends on the circumstance.teddybearswednesdayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06068878478604992309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5751844810135357320.post-7299692034572225432009-12-30T14:40:32.826+11:002009-12-30T14:40:32.826+11:00Nope.
