The Marvel of Cavalia:: Review

It's not every day you get to marvel. In fact, I think as you get older, and as life gets trickier and seemingly faster, you lose the ability to marvel as a child does.To be transported back to childlike place, where you sit gaping in awe and marvelling at how incredible life is. It's a good place to be.

This week I was so very lucky enough to be invited to see Cavalia.

The best word I can think of to describe it is marvellous. I cheered, I clapped, I cried. It was that beautiful. I marvelled.

Not only the creativity and sheer skill, but relationship between horse and rider - it was tangible. You could see the mutual adoration. On top of that, the strength. I sat there, my jaw dropped, transfixed. And then add that these adults have shunned the perpetuated norms of society, and run away and joined the circus. What artful joy! I never wanted it to end.

It felt like a dream - and I am so grateful for having it.

Could Cavalia have invoked an epiphany for me? Gosh, I hope so.

Last night I felt like I was in The Princess Bride. And Willow. And Lord of the Rings. It is that magical.

The show sweeps you off your feet and into another world. I never want to come back.

We were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the stables. Now I want a pony. And a farm. And to get the heck out of Sydney and live a horsey life riding bareback and doing stunts - that's the life for me!

If you can - go see it. For the sheer dream fuel. For the beauty. And for me, to inspire me to exercise more so I can do a hand stand, on a horse, cantering.

You'll like it: If you want your breath taken away - to be transfixed by the sheer beauty of our equine friends, and the art, grace and humour of the performers.

When? Now until June 16

Book your tickets to Cavalia Sydney here and you can get 10% off ticket price by using the code: CAVALIASYD

Disclosure: I attended the show as a guest of Cavalia. I had no obligation to blog about it. BUT I loved it so freaking much I had to tell you about it.  I will only tell you about products/experiences that I genuinely love. Honesty is after all the best policy. I went, I loved it, I wanted to share.
