Things That Go Bump In The Night

July really isn't our month. Last night I woke up to some strange noises. And then realised that someone was trying to break in. Thankfully I have a sixth sense for the dodgy (is there a TV series in that?). Half frozen in fear and pumped up with adrenaline I woke Matt and we spent the next few hours awake. Watching. We called the police.

I'm not wishing away my life, just July. I'm over it already.
If you haven't got the new Donna Hay Kids Magazine, there are some tops ideas in there to make the smalls salivate.

Oh my goodness! Was there any damage to your place? Maybe it was a masterchef devotee who is in love with Chris and they were coming to tell you that he is kind and loveable and also smooshy in the right places, and really not the stink rat we all think him to be?

How scary. I hope the idiot has buggered to the hole he crawled out of.
What kind of idiot trys to break in while people are home?!

Next door to my sister a woman broke into the house while the girl renting it was at her boyfriends. Turned out the breaker-in-ers siter used to live there and while very drunk she went to see her and fell asleep in the laundry. As you do.

Joyless July. Not good at all. I hope it is followed by Awsome August. I'm glad you are all okay, break-ins (including attempted)are horribly icky.

I'm glad you and your family are ok. That would terrify me.

Crikey Lexi that is my worst nightmare! Hope you get a better night tonight. Was almost going to pop into the newsagents today to get that Donna Hay mag but after grocery shopping with two snotty small people, (which included a clean-up on aisle four of a broken bottle of oyster sauce) I just couldn't face entering another shop. Will try again tomorrow ...

(BTW passed on the tip from yesterday to a friend and she burst into tears at the thought of being able to pull out the scraps of paper and have a read when needed. We are both now looking for an appropriate canister!)
