A Petal or Two For You, Petal

Five of the best from our garden. Matt's grandfather was a mad keen camellia enthusiast. Winter time is as though the garden is alight with pinks, whites and fuschias of petals furiously unfurling in colour. It's tough to choose a favourite. So I choose them all.

This post is for Tania, who I seem to gross out all the time. Big camellia lovin' to you lady!

the deep pink is by far my fav.. even tho i am not a fan of camellias...

Yup, you do. But I secretly sort of love it. Same for camellias, which is lucky. We inherited a WHOLE garden of 'em. Plus they're the only plant about the place that has a hope in hell of surviving distinctly non-green thumbs...

Beautiful camellias certainly add some winter charm to the garden. Mine seem to have "bonsaied" themselves after getting burned over summer and the flowers are super tiny! Hope they recover as they are too little to pick and put into vases!

Oh! I choose them all too! All of 'em! XXxx

I'm a bit petal crazed at the moment, so the more the merrier I say.

p.s. thanks for your nice comment about our invite this week. I must say I feel rather warm and fuzzy after such nice feedback! :)

That dark pink one is just amazing. The petals are so sweet. Thanks for the flora, winter hasn't left us with much of that down here

That dark pink one is as close to perfection as I have ever seen!
