Some More Pretty

I've found even more pretty in my tidy up. These are certainly not things that I would ordinarily buy. In fact, I bought a 'lot' at an auction. I only bidded on this 'lot' because no one else was and I felt sorry for it (am I the only one who takes pity on inanimate objects?). But in that lot I got a whole lot of treasure. For $20, I couldn't be happier. There was a bunch of Villeroy & Boch vintage goodies, and just a whole lot of random stuff (such as the plates from yesterday). And while they're not designs that I would see myself buying knowingly, I love how they all just go together. Those florals meshing with the worn-down turquoise design, that dainty rose sitting with the Potter-esque flowers. Perfectly feminine and destined for great things this Summer. Girlfriends, I'm ready for tea parties a-go-go.

There are gorgeous!! You are sooo good and finding things. ANd no you are not the only who takes pity on inanimate object- I do too, I worry that my bikes feelings will be hurt if I get a new one, or if I don't wear one pair of shoes for a while...)
They are lovely things for a lovely person. xx

I love these Lexi, and the ones from yesterday too. I think I share your pity for the inanimate.I'm always getting into trouble for bringing home more mismatched vintage ceramics - but they are so special.
I have to hide them carefully now so they just kind-of sneak their way into the cupboards, hopefully unnoticed by the Mr...

Oooo, do I spy some Royal Copenhagen there? Just a little bit jealous of your lovely buy.... it doesn't need to be felt sorry for in my book :) (And now I'm trying to make it feel better by saying that...!)

Love the big square on at the bottom. How much of this stuff do you have? No wonder Teddy Bombastic went missing for a while, you must have piles everywhere - not that that is a bad thing AT ALL!

I'll bring some scones!

I love a bit of mix and mix (not match) pretties. Especially a box of goodies for $20. :)

Can I bring cupcakes? I scored some gorgeous pretty floral paper cupcake cases, and now I need tea parties!
