A Very Tiny Birthday

It's Tiny's birthday today. She's the grand old age of two. She's thrown a few pearlers today just to reinforce that we are indeed in the throes of the terrible twos. And it is just the beginning. Le sigh.

Despite these tanties, we headed off to the zoo. Matt, the Doctor, Tiny and I. Man oh man, it was hawt.

We had a great day off.

The muggies* were the hit of the day with the tiniest small. She loved watching them playing up close and personal.

The biggest small, he likes the kangaroos and after we'd seen them insisted we hadn't seen them until I replayed blow by blow the kangaroos. Then he was satisfied that we did not have to trek all the way back and watch the kangaroos sleeping.

We all loved the bird show. It's a given. If you visit Taronga Zoo, do check out the bird show. And the muggies*.

* muggies = monkeys

Happy Birthday Miss Tiny, you sweetest of sweet peas. So happy that Biggest Small didn't attempt to sling an arm over a sleeping kangaroo for a photo op, I'll share that little pearler with you at a later date, suffice to say, not a great idea. :) xx

Happy Birthday Tiny!! May your
year be wonderful and your mood happy!

I have only once been to the Taronga zoo, when I was about 10 years of age, but it started off a love of zoo's. While we were travelling overseas we visited every zoo we went near, from Singapore to Amsterdam. I saw some very strange critters that I didn't even know existed. Soon we are taking Cohen to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and I can't wait! :)

Happy Birthday Tiny!!!

Taronga is a fantastic zoo. When I went to the Melbourne Zoo a few weeks back I kept hearing "de-derrrrrrr" in my head. It is a shocker.
Sorry Melbourne Zoo.

Happy birthday dear Tiny, sorry I am a day late but my computer was dead yesterday but I was thinking of you in your 2 glory. I think that a monkey is always a big favourite with the human monkeys.
