Ah, Franny and Zooey. RIP, JD. PS - Lexi, I dreamed you sold your blog for 125 mill last night, and spearked a huge bloggers meeting to discuss the implications. Amanda Soule was there, Mia Freedman, Nie Nie... - too funny.
Franny and Zooey is one of my favourite all time books. I love the Glass family. I think my hubby reads Catcher in the Rye on a monthly basis. Rest in Peace Mr.Salinger, and thank you for for many hours of page turning delights. x
I read Catcher in the Rye at least once a year. It definitely grows on you every time you read it and reveals something new to you each time.
Who wouldn't want to be a crotchety old recluse with a famous novel under their belt? Sounds grand to me. I read somewhere that 40 years ago a womans uni lecturer said that Salinger had been writing all these years and not publishing and the works may come out after his death. Wouldn't that be something? :)
