And This Is The Day I Catch Up

I've had the Doctor home all week sick with a cold and fever. I'm sick with a cold and fever. I'm sick of being sick. And when we've been going out people have said "Oh have you lost your voice?" Yeah no I always talk like a teenage boy whose voice is breaking.
Earlier in the week I asked a car wash man how much to wash our car. Apparently $180. I'd pay that if Jessica Simpson washed it wearing her Daisy Dukes, but not when the car park is in our local shopping centre and about 200 ninjas descend on the car for a thorough wash. Who pays $180? Not me. I'll get my own Turtle Wax and wash the darn thing myself. In Daisy Dukes.
Matt's been painting. I've been unpacking what seems to be a mass of neverending boxes. The only thing worse than packing is unpacking. Especially unpacking those boxes I packed towards the end of packing when I was completely over packing and literally just chucked everything in there. Does everyone do that sort of special packing or is that just me?
Oh and that illo up there is by my charming husband of me.
Anyway. Weekend. What are your plans?

i always have a number of misc/junk boxes when moving.
And then when unpacking i whittle away at them by half emptying a couple and the tipping them into one so i at least have the feeling i have emptied a box...
It can take weeks to get through the last of those boxes...good luck with yours

Your husband is very talented.

No set plans this weekend and it feels great. Might go look at a few houses and see what's out there at the moment.

Have a great weekend.

Oh yes, I do this special packing... we have been in this house for 6 months and just today I was still unpacking a few "random" bags....

In one bag, I had packed a Korean card game, a pic of one of my cousins, a bag of cotton wool, a couple of gumnuts and an indian medicine dropper...

Holy Moly! I don't know what's surprising me more - the $180 bucks for a car wash (hey, I'll pay YOU that if you're wearing the daisy dukes too!), or that AWESOME painting by the Mr! Wowzers that bloke can paint. Of course an artist is nothing without his muse ;)
