Movies With My (Little) Boy

I took the Doctor to see Toy Story 3 today. In 3D no less. He and I both loved it.

With choc top in hand, we found ourselves a seat in the darkened cinema and watched numerous trailers before settling in for the main event.

It was a little scary in places, and the Doctor grasped my hand tight. It's a little tear-inducing in some spots too.

What I find most tear inducing is when people rustle packets of chips throughout the whole film. But that's off-topic isn't it?

We left chatting non-stop about it. All the great parts. Ken, in particular, was my favourite.

I'd rate it 4 stars. Because I can.

Have you seen it yet?

I'm thinking of taking my three year old son to see it on Thursday (if he can stay out of trouble for that long). It will be his first movie going experience.

I really really want to see it but the 3D thing will probably make me vomit. Yep - it weirds me out too much.

It sounds like you both had an adorable time. Lovely.

We took Olivia, Charlie & Lexie to see the film last weekend, at the drive-in. It was probably my fave ever kids movie.

I saw it in 2D with my daughter as I get a headache from 3D (my eyes can't handle all the focus changes). I loved it too, and wiped away a few stray tears, especially when Andy played with his toys with Bonnie. We loved Buzz in spanish mode! Lots of fun indeed!

I took my boy for a movie date on Thursday and we LOVED it. Spanish buzz my favourite but the rooster loved all the "escape" parts. Actually, it was the first time I had seen any Toy Story from beginning to end.

We saw it but just in normal not 3D as I thought it was too much for Lucy's first movie and I hate 3D actually. I thought it was a little scary in places and I definitely shed a few tears
