Date Night:: Feeding The Big Love

Did you read the article in Sunday Life about date nights? It happened to coincide with our long-awaited date night - and I've just managed to read it while the smalls enjoy their evening bath.

Date night was blissful. Date night was a lazy lunch together. Chatting. Non-stop. Uninterrupted, save for the waiter, a glass of wine sitting in the sleep inducing sunshine, followed by a sneaky pre gig beer (no alcohol, all ages). Date night was all sorts of awesome.

I am so looking forward to our next date night. At the beginning of the year we vowed we'd go on a date at least once a month, but sometimes the month slips away and before we know it, we've missed three date nights. But not again (well, we will try harder!).

My favourite kind of date night involves some good food and a glass or two of vino. Ah yes - cheers to that.

yeah I like to have date night at lunch time because these days I can't handle my drink and last time I went out with husband for dinner and cocktails I ended up falling asleep in the car my head lolling out of window and it goes without saying was in no mood for sex!!

We are big fans of date 'night' in this household too. We also went on a date on Sunday, to Luna Park. Old school but fun.
And I agree with the other comments, you guys are one cute couple!

Our last Date night was dinner and a Xavier Rudd concert. We have another in a few weeks, John Butler Trio this time!
Looks like you had a great night.

I love date night. In fact I'm looking forward to ours on Friday night, dinner and children collide concert. Seems that concerts are the in thing at the moment! Glad you had such a lovely time!

We are sooo overdue for a date night! Thanks for the reminder, I think they are so vital to keep the love alive ( sorry to sound so corny), but it's true!
Glad you had a great time.
