The collection has well and truly started! Thanks to those who have already donated beautiful softies to be sent to Japan. We got some seriously awesome softies dropped off this week at the Balmain store, both handmade and new. I'll take a camera intomorrow and take some photos.
I know what we've collected will make many kids smile. With up to 100,000 displaced though there is still much to do.

Yesterday I posted two little dollies to Calico and Ivy in Perth.Both Steiner inspired, I made one myself (A "Baby Gnome") and the other ( an angel) made by a Steiner dollmaker. I have also sent a note home to the parents of the children I teach encouraging them to also donate a softie.
Have posted off two dollies to Calico and Ivy in Perth yesterday, one hand-made by me, the other by a doll-maker. Also have encouraged the parents of the children I teach to do the same.
Count me in - I have nearly finished a kitty kat I will be sending.
