Are You There Friends? It's Me. Lexi.

Right now, for all I know, I could be the only one here. I'm banging out this written word, and it might just be me reading it in a quick edit before hitting publish. It's oh so quiet.

Are you there reader? Because all I can hear is an echo.

I'm madly putting together lists of gift ideas - but do you like them? Do you care? What is art? What is normal? Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

I'm not asking for a marching band, or a ticker tape parade every time I post - but girl, gimme a little sign.

Do you hate that I turned off the anonymous commenting? Well I did it because I was sick of Simone and other fabulous nobodies opening cans of whoop ass on me. I got tired of it actually. As soon as I turned it off, life got better!

But dudes. You gotta throw a girl a bone. It's boring being just being all by myself all the time.

BTW - do you think my small girl-child will like this book? Totes unrelated. But you get that on the big jobs.

Agree with Cass, Lauren Child can do no wrong so it's a yes on the book.

I'm super dooper organised on the gift front hence the lack of comments re gift guides.

Hi hi- it's just me. I'm here, you know. Hanging around. Christmas lists are great, I like eye candy but I have no cash to spend.

Gimme ya brain woman- I like your funny stories about life. I like the rudeness and the cheek.

I do apologise, I read and never comment. I hardly ever do, on anyones blog. I must make more effort!

P.S. I like the lists! :)

Get the book....it is awesome....we got it for our little one last Christmas and it is a favourite of hers!

It has too much story for a quick bedtime read with her so we make it a quick read now but as she gets older we will read it all to her!

Hi - I am a regular reader but never comment. Sorry! I know how great it is to receive comments so I have been trying to get better at leaving them. And you should def buy that book. Everyone loves Goldilocks!

Sorry, I read regularly but rarely comment. I know how it feels, nobody ever comments on my blog, either!
I particularly liked your homelover list. I love the herb dryer. My Mum bought a house recently and it will look just gorgeous in her little kitchen. Can't wait. Thanks for making my life a little easier - my Mum and my sister both have birthdays in the week leading up to Christmas, so I always struggle for ideas.
Love your work, by the way.

Oh man. I so feel ya. I was actually thinking about throwing in the towel because no one seemed to comment except when I dd something conventional like Make a cloud mobile. I've been working 12hrs a day for the last 2 weeks, no days off (stupid theatre industry) coz you knOw I live to comment here! Now I'm writing this on my Phone ( hence whack formatting)!!! Don't worry you're loved my dear. Xsx

I'm here! And I'm reading, but terrible at commenting.

I feel the same way. I'm putting all these thoughts and secrets and ideas out there in the ether and have no idea if anyone's reading. Maybe one day....

I'm here! I always read but am hopeless at commenting. Mostly because I grab a blog post or two at a time whilst I'm at work and that's all the time I have. But I do very much enjoy reading what you write!

I'm here as well, I love to read your posts but have never commented before. So, ummm... hi! Keep it up!

Leonie said...

I'm here too and apparently have turned into a lurker! So yes, floating around reading all your posts through my G**gle Reader and having a giggle at the things Tiny gets up to.

Hi PMM, I tend to read in bulk at the weekends. I have over 600 posts waiting in my reader, (some of them will be ruthlessly culled), so commenting is a rarity. I also got burned recently when I made what I thought was a funny comment, only to be turned on by some mummy pack wolves. I am alittle gun shy these days.
