Who knew? I wonder if anyone has ever found the ruby necklace?!
mwahaha! The thing that really gets me is not that they didn't know it was real (which is a while 'nuther rant, ha!) but that they then feel the need to publicly point out their ignorance...I'd be too embarrassed. Then again, maybe that's just my (clearly advanced!) age and cynicism shining through!....it reminded me of a news item I heard on the radio a month or so ago saying nearly half the year 6s thought yoghurt came from trees. Want bark with that?
um, I have type, deleted, shaken my head, re typed, and now, well, I am just not sure what how to respond. This concerns me- it is funny! But also (to reign it my laughter)- gosh...the reality/ fantasy divide merging- and our understanding of history being effected- not just the present. Shit. So many quips and one liners come to mind about what might and might not be a 'true story'!
I was actually speechless when I heard this on the news yesterday morning. Good Lord!
lady, i was just stopping by to say i hope you're feeling better.xo emp.s titanic? Was real?? Wow- leo has aged REALLY well.
the youth of today....
i saw this when i got to work. i mean, wow. okay, i get that maybe people didn't realize that it was real, but to broadcast their ignorance on twitter....well, i just don't know what to say about that....xon
That is out of control?? Youth! I'm going to ask my 19 year old sister the question...
Its pretty sad - and to let everyone know that they didn't know is even sadder!!x
I fear for our future. I am pretty sure by 2020 an election will be held by facebook fans.
