Powerhouse Museum Meets Sydney Water:: A (Quick) Giveaway

This is a sponsored post
Right now (until November 6) there's an interactive exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum showcasing five new , tap™ bottle designs that were created by artists in collaboration with Sydney Water.

It looks like a fun exhibit, and one that's really hands on. In my book, they're the best kind, when I get to participate and have fun - while learning. Win:Win. Plus it's showcasing the work of local artists - and that in itself is ace.

To get more people drinking tap water, tap™ invited the community to help design their new bottle. Participants were asked to use their bottle designs to show why sustainability is important to them.

From the submissions, the five most popular were selected, as voted by the tap™ Facebook community. These as going in to production as a limited edition series of 2000, and given away to the public via a fortnightly Tappyhour competition on the tap™ Twitter page. The competition is running until Christmas.

If you'd like to check out the exhibition - I've got 5 double passes + 10 bottles to give away.
This means that you can visit the exhibition AND be more sustainable by drinking tap water and not buying plastic bottles. It's Win:Win:Win.

If you'd like to enter, please leave a comment below telling me what's your favourite thing about water.  Think big. Extra points for creativity.

I'll announce the winners on Monday morning at 9am. Tickets will be sent out on Monday night in an overnight bag so I can get you to the altar Powerhouse Museum on time to check out the exhibition before it closes.

Terms & conditions:
- Entries are open from Friday 2nd November, 8pm until Sunday 4th November, 11:59pm
- Open only to NSW residents (unless you're in town visiting, then by all means enter)
- You must be contactable via email
- There will be five winners. Each winner will receive a double pass to the Powerhouse Museum and two of the limited edition tap bottles.

Favourite thing about water - it's the only thing that quenches the thirst of a breastfeeding muma.

Oh this excites me!! I hate paying for bottled water and so I refuse to! I only ever ask for tap water at a restaurant and take my own reusable bottle when we go out. I get so depressed seeing empty plastic bottles littering our streets and waterways. Water is my drink of choice after my coffee in the morning. I rarely drink anything else, I just love how good water makes me feel. Thanks Lexi, this is awesome!

There's nothing like drinking 2 pints of water after a heavy night out on the town before bed. The hangover is definitely lessened in the morning!!

I was just looking at this tap website the other day for work and thought what a great concept. I probably don't drink enough water and should drink more but my kids only drink water (and milk) but they annoy me when they don't take one of our reusable bottles from home and then the first thing they say when we get anywhere is "I'm thirsty" I usually tell them bad luck but eventually I end up buying them water. I've now taken to asking them every time we leave the house if they have water as I hate buying it

These drink bottles are fabulous. I like nothing better than a drink of ice cold water - refreshing, no calories and best of all free. All Aussies should be drinking their water out of one of these bottles rather than environmentally damaging bottles.

Water is great for rehydrating when having a cold, my daughter has a cold and she is watching TV holding on to her hot pink drink bottle drinking water. If she saw these great TAP bottles she gladly give up her hot pink drink bottle for a tap bottle.

Water...what would I do without it?!

is that it hydrates me so and therefore prevents me from resembling an oversized prune; it's the cheapest beauty product you can buy; damn handy in the kitchen too (ever tried to boil and egg or cook pasta sans water?); does wonders to my plants and flowers; entertains toddler child for hours; 'sorta handy in the bathroom when push comes to flush; helps to make a mean crease in my husbands business shirts (not that I iron them, but he tells me so); and makes the jumping into our pool a far more pleasurable experience than without.

So, water, you're an all round good guy or gal maybe, and we really should tell you more often how grateful we are for your existence!

ps...Can't believe how much your smalls have grown...you might remember me as The Dr's first teacher at preschool before I went off to bring my own smalls (now 3 and 1) into this world :)

I love water. I love to swim in it, bathe in it, drink it, look at it, dream about it, protect it. One day I should like to live by it.

you can control its temperature! you can freeze it to cool you down or heat it to warm you up! Only if I can control people like I can with water ;)
