Undecorating Is A Real Prick
I am trying to undecorate our home. It is quite literally a prick. The Christmas tree has a definite crunch to it - which makes extracting the decorations akin to rubbing my arms on a piece of green velcro.
As a result, I've employed a new method to undecorating that is not terribly productive. I undecorate a small number of decorations per day. Which means the tree is further degenerating, so it's now not just a complete prick, but it's shedding it's baby pricks all over the ground and the couch. What a prick.
As for the other decorations, well I had quite a sporadic approach - and just when I think I've packed everything away - I discover another installation of Christmas 'stuff' in another spot. Yawn.
I guess it's time to take a more ruthless approach. Declutter, de-Christmas and de-prick.
Have you packed up your Christmas decs yet?
