LOVING! Karen Walker Sunglasses
Firstly, let's talk about how fabulous Karen Walker is for shaking things up and adding older women to the mix. I mean it shouldn't have to be this way, advertising should ideally reflect a mix of people, but usually it doesn't. So this - - - this is extra awesome.
Secondly, how beautiful does that grey hair look? Remember when I confessed I'd found grey hairs? Well since then I've been known to sit in the car (parked) and look for greys along my crown, or squinting in the bright bathroom mirror for a streak of silver (hooray to no avail!). But when I see these proud, sassy women, well it almost makes me want to strip my hair and make it an optional necessity.
Thirdly, and the crux of our conversation today, dear reader. How fab are these sunglasses? Fun, iconic frames in colours! Oversized! Playful! I love that they're talking to seventies styles, but they're thoroughly modern.
Which would you choose?
No matter what ----
Get them on your wishlist - pronto!

I've Got A Crush
I'm not getting it, but a gal can dream right? She deserves to be warm this Winter, right?

This Is Where I Confess... I Don't Love Brogues
While everyone on the interwebz is flitting about in a pair of cool brogues, I've stood fast. I don't love them. Any hipster worth their weight in shoelaces is wearing them. But not me, I will not succumb. Not that I'm a hipster.
And I think I'm the only one that doesn't own a pair.
Dear Universe, what's wrong with me? Why don't I love brogues?
Well. There are a couple of reasons:
a) my foot is so big, it would look like I was wearing my husband's work shoes
b) I just think I look dorky in them
Instead I embrace a pair of heels, or sandals, or my Chucks, or anything other than brogues.
I do not love brogues.
Brogues. They look good on other people. But not me.
There now, I've said it. Phew.
(however I could get with these brogues, they have a heel! I could love them. Alas, they will not fit. But if you, Cinderella, will fit these shoes, check them out here at Karen Walker's Playpark)
