Do you remember in Police Academy when they went to the Blue Oyster?
Yeah well the title of this dress has absolutely nothing to do with that, but I didn't want it to be called the Blue Danube.
I got this dress from the same stall holder as the stripey sweatbox. That stall was like the motherload of vintage goodness - and it was in the olden days when barely anything was more than $20. Sa-weeeeet action!
I think this baby cost me a cool tenner, and therefore cost per wear is in the negatives.
What you can't see from the photo is the metallic thread striping through the fabric. It's pretty special. They don't make them like this anymore.
All money goes to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
But you know that, right?!

They don't like them like that. I've been looking for a nice glass water jug lately and my Mum just grabbed me the most fab one from the oppy for $4 bucks - including matching glasses, they are gold and brown, certainly not made these days.
That is a beautiful dress, the colour is so happy and bright.
