Day 9 - Frocktober 2016: Tropicana with Little Tienda

Sunday is our one day of the week all together as a family. And I was happy to go out together this morning to Balmoral, one of my favourite places to pretend life is cruisy and I am blessed with living beachside. ;)

It was a happy few hours spent in the sunshine, sand underfoot, sea crashing, salt in the air.

And it was made even more perfect because I had one of my favourite frocks on - 'Tropicana Andrea' frock from Little Tienda. Pink + seaside perfection = magic!

Anyway - if you wanted to sponsor me, and help slay ovarian cancer - please do.

Frocktober 2015: Day 25 - It Is Easy Being Green

Sunday and the living is easy. Or whatever that saying is.

Today in Little Tienda marks the point that in a week - Frocktober 2015 will be all over red rover. PHEW!

My fourth year has perhaps been the trickiest. But I am so grateful to all of my sponsors - thank you to each and every one of you!!

And if you haven't had a chance to sponsor me yet - please do! No matter what size the donation, I will be so grateful! Donate a takeaway coffee - I'll be completely stoked.

All donations are tax deductible and go to Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

Frocktober 2015: Day 23 - OLE!

Everything's peachy keen my friends. Well actually it's not. Because it's freaking cold in Sydney and I've only got one more warm dress left. What's happened to this weather?

Yesterday I wore a white dress, and had to walk home in the cold rain. This is a recipe for... near nudity in suburbia.

And this is also known as dedication to the cause.

If you sponsor me this Frocktober (my fourth) you'll be helping me raise money for research into ovarian cancer. All money raised goes to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

And it's tax deductible, which means more frocks for you.

What's not to like?

Sponsor me today. Please! Pretty please!

Frocktober 2015: Day 3 - The Real Little Tienda

Apparently Sydney got a memo. And all that memo read was: make it hot motherfrockers.

Yeah well she sure did. So the only way to get around on the weekend was in this light and bright frock fresh from (the real) Little Tienda. Who am I kidding? it's an old favourite.

That navy with that embroidery and those colours. MWAH! I could emoji all over that thing.

If you sponsor me today here's what you get:

- The knowledge that your hard earned cash is going straight to Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation - do not pass go, do collect (or donate) some dollars. Whatever you can afford. You'll be helping to fund research into ovarian cancer - because currently there is no early detection test.

Can you dig it? Well I dig you!

PS For the month of Frocktober Em at Little Tienda is generously donating 10% from all sales to Frocktober. So if you weren't already in the mood, well maybe you are now. x

The case of the disappearing Lexi

Time flies when you're... super busy.

It's been a while, yes it's been a while. But I've been lurking. Thinking. Dreaming.

One of the highlights of being on hiatus was hanging out with Em from Little Tienda, at Little Nicki's house while being photographed by Luisa Brimble

Honestly, it was a brilliant, bright, wonderful day and I had so much fun!

Spending time with three excellent strong, talented women was a real coup for me, and filled up my buckets. You know what I mean? When you hang out with people like that you can't help but feel buoyed and inspired. It was really good for my soul.

Other than that I'm madly trying to get my reading on (I was aiming for two books per month, but hit Feb and FAILED!), working my way through Orange is the New Black (like a true TV binger) and last night I had a little too much champagne. Oops!

Clearly the shoot was the most exciting thing that's happened to me in a looong time.

What's been cooking in your 'hood?

Frocktober 2014:: Day 23 - Fitness MotherFrockers (Little Tienda)

Recognise this frock? Cast your mind back to last year. Or click here.

It's a good one. Hand embroidered, beautiful for a hot day. And today it served me well to do The Bay Walk/Run.

That's right motherfrockers, I exercise in a frock!

It's from Little Tienda. And I have to tell you a story about Little Tienda. Emily (who is the awesome behind LT) has generously, incredibly, feverishly been working behind the scenes to help me reach my goal.

How do you thank someone that has gone without, so that I hit my target and together we give ovarian cancer a swift kick up the brass razoo?

I don't think I ever can. But I can tell everyone how brilliant she is. How bright. How she's kept the pep in my step, the sparkle in my arkle. She has kept me on the straight and narrow, even when I thought I couldn't do it. Even when I started thinking I would have to revise my goal.

Emily works super hard - and Little Tienda is testament to her brilliance. Please shop with Little Tienda. This month she's generously donating 10% from EVERY SINGLE SALE to my PottyMouth Ovarian Cancer Ass-Kicking fund. She is incredible. I am humbled.

Buy something for yourself (I've got this and it's GREAT with jeans and shorts; this clutch is totally on my wish list)! Buy a Christmas gift (Tiny has this and it's unbelievably cute). I don't care what you buy, but buy something because the woman is not only supporting me, but Little Tienda supports Mexican artisans too.

Emily is amazing. Emily is the type of person you want on your team.

And you know what? Emily and I have never even met IRL.

I can feel a margarita coming on.
