Day 6 - Frocktober 2016: Chilly + Suburban

It's been cold in Sydney - and I'm fast running out of cold weather frocks. POOR ME!

I don't know why, but I don't wear this wool frock very often - but it's a goodie.

Navy + from Zimmermann, it pairs easily with a long boot and tights. It's actually pretty perfect for transeasonal wear! I vow to wear it more often!

Anyway - if you were thinking of sponsoring me this Frocktober, I'd be ever so grateful!

Day 5 - Frocktober 2016: Black Widow Baby

YO YO YO! I am back in black, I'm the (wo)man in black. I am BACK!

Day 5 and it's COLD PEOPLE! Frocktober is not so easy when it's the big chill. So I am back in tights, boots and a silk chiffon shift. YEEEP!

What can I say that I haven't said before - other than - sponsor me and we can, together, help slay ovarian cancer.

Sponsor me. PLEASE! I BEG YOU!

Day 4 - Frocktober 2014: Back to werk

It was day 4 and I rolled home late from my first day back at work. The Doctor (my 11 year old) and I quickly took a pic in the last light.

I've agreed to pay him a dollar per Frocktober photo.

It's a struggle my friends, I will not lie. My fifth year, and I'm a little weary. What gives me new motivation is when people sponsor me. For realz.

Here's the link. If you want me, I'm fast asleep.

Frocktober 2016: Day 3 - Gingham good enough for a picnic!

Day 3 and the sun WAS SHINING!

What can I say that we all don't understand about the pure delight of a long weekend on the back of a week of holidays?!

Sleep ins, long walks, games of Bananagrams, extending reading time, lying in the sunshine in the garden. All of it - beautiful.

Now I'm heading back into long commutes, big time busy, and werk-werk-werk-werk-werk.

It was fun while it lasted!

Today it kind of felt like a Sunday, so I chose an old favourite - this Witchery gingham tunic. It's been a long-time favourite, and felt perfect for the sunshine with a pair of sneaks.

If you've not donated already - I'd really, really love you to! For the price of a cup of coffee, you could make a dent in my $10,000 goal. If everyone did that, I'd be a happy woman!

Go on.

Dare you!

Frocktober 2016: Day 2 - Little Tienda + a little more

Day 2 and it's Sunday. Traditionally Sunday is a slow day, and this was no exception. Rolled out of bed late after the stage fright of - what the feijoa am I going to wear today. I want to walk. I want to frock it.

This is the day I had to force my smalls to leave the house and go on an adventure because I couldn't deal with being home ONE MORE DAY! This is the day I just had to be near the ocean, just for the calm. This is the day - two days before I go back to work. I need to suck the marrow from my free time!

So I went for Little Tienda. Which is just as well because this weekend only - Little Tienda is donating 10% of all sales to my fundraising pot - all going to OCRF.

Shop or not, you can donate here.

Frock: Little Tienda
Styling: My husband ;)
Sneaks: Asics - my first pair in almost 4 years. Just like I am walking on clouds!

Frocktober 2016: Day 1 - My Mama's

Five years ago I started this adventure of Frocktober. I can't even remember how I learnt about it - but I knew I could do it.

And I have!

But not without your help. THANK YOU!

Together we have raised $31.2k to date. And this year my goal is $10k.

Can you help me?

All money raised goes to a jolly good cause - the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

You can donate here right now - big, little, small or tall, I will take donations, take them all!

To reach my goal I need $9189. Got $9 clanging around in your purse. PLEASE! Throw it my way!

Pink Pastel Princess: New Shoes on the Block

Every season - every single season, I pound the pavement and scour the internet for the perfect flats. They are not easy to come by.

My Mum always taught my sisters and I that we should invest in good quality shoes - and it's a rule I've always lived by.

I'm looking for something that looks stylish, is comfortable and will last beyond a season of wear.

It's not a tall ask my friends!

I spotted these cuties from the new collection at Ziera - and my heart was a-flutter. THE perfect almond toe, a slight lift in the heel, and the most perfect pastel palette.

I'm calling it people. The must-have shoe of the season.
Perfect for work.
Perfect with a skirt.
Perfect with a cropped pant.
Just perfect.
