This Is... My Favourite Kitchen Tool

I find kitchen tools and gadgets pretty exciting to look at. In fact, just thinking about it warms the cockles of my heart. All those brand spanking new wooden spoons, bowl scrapers, brand new shiny whisks, oh gosh, can you feel the love tonight?! The potential that all those tools hold - well it could even warm the sub-cockles of my heart. But the truth is, I don't really buy the gadgets, I just like looking.

But I do hold a special place in my heart for the OXO Apple Divider. Perfect for busy mamas on the hop.

But the biggest spot in my heart is reserved for this beauty, my (really our) Kitchenaid. She's a beauty. A wonderous thing. A wedding gift from my sisters. We bake cakes together. Biscuits. All manner of things. Together. All hail the Kitchenaid.

Thanks to Sharon at Handmaiden for this great topic close to my heart! For more This Is players, hop over to Three Buttons.

I wish I had a glorious Kitchenaid...instead of my cheap Sunbeam version!

I have serious mixer envy. I also have a Sunbeam.

And just quietly I love anything that's lablled Oxo Good Grips. Years ago (when I young, ambitious and cashed up) I dispensed with my whole untensil draw to the oppie and traded up to GGs. Love them.

the kitchenaid will be on our wedding list...I'm hoping hoping hoping that someone is generous enough to buy it for us. I just can't decide what colour.

See this shade of green? This is the shade of green called 'envy'. I don't even have a Sunbeam, kids - but that's because our kitchen is miniscule. I want a red kitchenaid!

... and a bigger kitchen. Of course!

I have a red one and I absolutely love it. I've told my husband that in the event of a fire, you grab the kids and I'll take care of the Kitchenaid.

So fancy, got to love a pastel gadget. I presume those beautiful hand made goodies in picture are yours? This made me wish I had some sisters of my own.
