I am in two minds peeps. Sewing resumes tonight, but I don't know if I can be bothered - not just for tonight, but re-committing for the entire term. Bad, isn't it? I am feeling a little stressed about it. But then, I could continue building on my newfound sewing skills. Or stay at home and enjoy some hand sewing. What to do, what to do?
I went op shopping. Kind of a way to forget the thoughts. Sew or not to sew. Op shop or not to op shop. Well that last one is a noooo brainer!
I found a few cute things. In particular, this Humpty Dumpty mug kept in the 'special' cabinet. And the little glass jar.
And an ace vintage men's David Jones trench in classic navy with a zip out wool liner. Pity it was too small for Matt.
Sew.. To sew or not to sew?

sew! sew! sew! either in class with the vroom or at home. I like the humpty cup.
I love the Humpty cup. I don't blame you about not wanting to go out tonight, brrr! I wish I went to sewing lessons, but I would stress about it all week, until i actually got to the class! I guess going out gives you time just for you, however.
It's far too cold to go out. Stay in and sew. The humpty cup is so cute. Good find.
yeah SEW SEW SEW...:) the mug is cute!!
Definitely take the sewing with you! (is it too weird/obsessive to crochet granny squares in the car on the way to a Saturday night out? I managed to restrain myself until I got back into the car in the early hours of the morning).
I have such a thing for jars! I have a couple of the old blue glass Ball jars on my kitchen counter. They have really cool gray heavy metal lids.
i rekkon ditch the classes and start a sewing night with your girlfriends. i have no idea what i'm doing but i like it better that way - am taking up all the too long op shop numbers and finally wearing them. making kids dressups following my own rules. crazy fun!
Thank you so much for the sydney advice, I can't wait!!
