Blogtoberfest Day 15: The Big Love

It's been four years since I walked out our front door after swilling a glass of champagne, hopped into a car with my Dad and sped off to the church. I was late. I hate being late. I imagined you standing at the alter wondering what was taking me so long. The answer? Fluffing around the house. But I arrived, the music played, I walked down the aisle and you and me, we got hitched. We walked out and guests threw petals and dried lavender*. There was music and laughter.

We are stuck together. Happily, blissfully, sometimes bumpily, we are stuck together.
* if you're getting married, i have a top tip! don't have dried lavender. it got stuck in my eye.
FYI - When I say I was 'fluffing around' - I mean faffing, like just stuffing around not really doing anything. Nothing else. Just wanted to clarify that...!

Oh, lovely story, especially the bit where you just wandered around, farting, before you left.
That photo of the two of you is gorgeous. Happy anniversary!

I was enraptured by the idea of throwing lavander at a wedding until I reached your cautionary words.

Hope your years together just get better and better!

Happy Anniversary (and I love your non-corner or do I just love the photo of your non-corner ... nope; I love both!).

ooh I just snorted wine out my nose reading about the farting. You did mean fluff as in flaff as opposed to fluff as in fart didn't you?

I have to agree that photo is lovely. Simply beautiful. I've only been married a little over 6 months but it's really the best adventure I've ever been on! :)
