Blogtoberfest Day 20: Watch This

While visiting over at Knot Sew Crafty, I came across this piece of inspiration in the form of William Kamkwamba. At just twenty years old, he's done more than most of us will do in a lifetime, he's changed his community.

You can donate to William here.

If you have the means, wouldn't it be ace to help someone get through school? There are loads of
excellent gift-giving ideas too. Education is such a powerful thing.

I have windmills all around me....all of the farms next to our house have them......I never thought for one second that people in africa didn't have Windmills. How could I not know this!! Something so every day for us that is essential for pumping water, cheap to run and quite easy to manage SHOULD be available to africa! Thank you for this post, its given me a reminder that we have so much...and they have a whole lot less! What an amazing young man!!

My mother has just suggested this very morning that rather than gift Xmas presents among the 15 adults in my immediate family we pool that money and fund a school in Zambia. I shall send her the link to William's story. Thank you.
