Awesome Australians!

Sally Seltmann - delicious voice, lyrical miracles
the effervescent Maggie Beer (image via)

Grace Cossington-Smith - under-rated Australian artist
Margaret Olley (who I used to bump into doing her fruit and veg shopping)

Abbie Cornish - loved her in Somersault, Candy, adored to the power of adored her in Bright Star

Michelle Jank - ethereal, beautiful, creative goddess

Here are just a few of my favourite Australian women - creative geniuses. I'd like to be at least just a teaspoon of each of these. I like to marvel at amazing women. Even if they're not famous faces.

It was a great mix of people this year ... and (just to be political) I love how the Aussie of the Year has already said his two cents worth re the link between detention and mental disease.

Maggie deserves to be Australian of the year for the burnt fig icecream alone. i thought I had died and gone to heaven with just one mouthful.

I love Sally Seitman! And she has a new record coming out soon ( or is it out now?)
Also like the look of Grace Cossington Smith.
And I think Beer is one classy last name.x
