The Big Surprise!

One of the highlights of my Sunday was discovering that my husband of almost five years can cook crepes. And I mean he can really cook crepes. Paper thin delicious, amazing, buttery, incredible crepes.
This is huge! HUGE! Matt always claims he can cook, but in the years we've been together he's only demonstrated:
- toasted sandwiches
- pizzas
- Spinach pie (with my direction)
- microwave fish (which made me dry wretch when I was pregnant with the Doctor - sorry Matt, it's true)

Paper-thin pancakes can mean only one thing.

Now every Sunday Matt is chef-ing it with his pancakes. I've put in a request for Bills hotcakes next week!

MICROWAVE FISH??? WHILE YOU WERE PREGNANT??? Well, that's just mean. At least a YEAR of Saturday crepes to make up for that crime.

Jealous.Jealous. Keith forgot how to cook the day we moved in together and now, if he does, he sort of takes pride in using up every limp, sorry vegetable at the bottom of the fridge. If only this post was in the newspaper, I could clip and leave it lying around...

Yum yum.

Ahhh the hidden talent!
Since we had a kiddies I insisted my husband bake a cake for my birthday each year! The first few were a little dodgy but he has mastered the Gluten Free packet mix and with 3 little helpers!

Ha! This is so funny because I discovered on Sunday that my husband is better at cooking pancakes than I am, apparently it is all about cooking on a low heat!
