Why Copying Is Never Kosher

Or even why plagiarism is not the rage-erism.

If you steal content or 'borrow' ideas, the world is a small enough place that it will be noticed.

If you can't go to sleep at night because something's not right, then it's probably not right.

Here, Here! Have noticed some content overlap cropping up - good for you for bringing this up, you have to protect your intellectual property I say! And well, it's downright boring when someone rips someones ideas off and do so poorly.

Who copies others? I mean really, so unnecessary. Original ideas are much, much better.

I grow ten inches, whiskers, chest hair, muscles – do the whole Incredible Hulk thang (only without the green) on this kind of issue. Standing up to be counted right next to you Mrs.

Some 'intertesting' comments...

It's so much nicer to have an idea that is your very own.
I have no idea who has stolen your goods but shame on them. I am away with the fairies 20 out of 24 hours of the day.
Good on you Lexi-Lou-Lou!

I don't know why I added the lou-lou. I think it's the Australian lengthen-shorten, shorten-lengthen thing....

Influence and inspiration is one thing, but outright plagiarism? That just makes me mad!

I hope whoever is causing the grief gets the message and ceases and desists immediately. Boo sucks to them I say!

Be flattered.

And then punch them in the nose!

i never really get the copying thing ... it is the one issue i'm certain to roll out and set up my soap box on ...but i have no doubt that your approach to blogging is a bit jackie o ... so glam people are going to go the big glasses too ... shame they couldn't be inspired to find a style that suits them better. mmm this is getting a little obscure ... i should be off ...

AHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA... sorry. Well, you know. Parts of this are funny.

Have been there, still not worked through all the frustration, but happy with the fact that I am cool enough to copy. Leading, not following is the most important thing, I think. People who steal ideas and are unable to develop their own never flourish, cause what happens when their idea source dries up, disappears or cuts them off? They are left with their own thoughts and ideas, which are obviously a creative wasteland.

You are the bomb.

Stacey said...

Indeed. Copying is never good. Although, in this day and age, with mass media assaulting us constantly, are there any truly original ideas?
Love the cats arse on the copies.

To copy is to admit you can't and they can... it's the copier who misses out. But it still sux for the one being copied! I wish everyone that used an image online would credit it back to the source as much as they can.

Love that image, made me snort!
