But What Do You Think?

Word on Sesame Street is that Katy Perry's clip got pulled because of her apparent 'risque' dress. I mean, it's not the most demure outfit - but seriously, parents have a problem with juggernauts? Juggernauts are the bearers of mama's milk, the life-juice for so many babies. Breasts are part of life. She's not wearing vinyl at least. I'm not a big Katy Perry advocate, but how is her outfit any more saucy than Wonder Woman.

However, Matt has just informed me that Lynda Carter is a heckovalotta hotter than Katy - well yes, that's true, but what's in an inch or two of cleavage. This is boobie racism in my book!

What four year old is going to say - 'Hey mama, that's a whole lotta hootie going on there?!' If they're saying that, there's something wrong in that per-ticular household. Capiche?

Peeps, this is grown-ups sexualising hooties. Plain and simple.

What say you mamas?

I saw this clip the other day I thought it was great. I don't think there is anything wrong with it . My three year old watched it and at no stage did she even comment on Katy Perry let alone Katy perry's boobs. I thought it was a cute clip x

I liked it when she rubbed her star, the leap onto the car looked as if she headbutted the windscreen, the pink dress is hot, the junkyard leap is hysterical, and did the guy at the petrol station go in for the grab or what?
Way hotter than Katy!

The world's gone mad, hasn't it...

There's nothing wrong with this clip, and anyway, as she told Elmo, she's wearing her 'dress-up-clothes'.

Kids wouldn't even notice her (very natural looking) cleavage.
She's not flashing any of her bits... Nothing risque at all.

'Boobie racism' is right!

this video clip is GREAT! my kids loved it and neither one commented on her outfit, and they are boys who love boozies! (note: i didnt see them drooling either, just giggling) A very clever spin on a very popular song, which most children are familiar with. and a pretty yellow dress too!

Jeez Louise...will it ever end? I think she looks fab! And my girls never noticed the dress or boobies...they were smitten with the veil :)

And it's already been pulled from youtube before I got to take a gander. Bum. I'm generally fairly anti-Katy but I do agree that people go a little over the top when it comes to boobies. Everyone's got them - just some are bigger than others.

ha ha ! I thought it was only officially a wardrobe malfunction if a nipple poked its way out a la Janet Jackson. I think Perry's baps look pretty wholesome and not even that ginormous. What next a ban on wearing mini skirts? the world's gone MAD!

I posted this on my blog the other day too.

I agree with the other girls, there is nothing wrong with it. No kids will be looking at her boobs, perhaps some of the Dads watching will be.

She has boobs - surely children have seen boobs before since they, um, feed off them... so really it's all in the adults dirty minds! I love your new look btw - but my how did you get so very glamorous, you must share with all of us!
