Carousel Dreams: Ended By A Mean Carnie

See that top photo. My goodness. Tiny is hilaire. Seriously. Look at her face! I left her for one moment and she was horrified to be riding the ponies by herself. But holding her around the waist was not enough. So I sat on the back of her pony, and together we were going to gallop through green open fields, our horsie eating oaten hay, basking in the sunshine, trotting 'round the lakes, or even just going 'round and 'round in circles on the Carousel.

You see, I don't ever remember going on such a lavish Carousel. Look how pretty it is.

When Matt and I went to Paris - about two hundred light years ago - we visited Montmartre, and the darn Carousel was closed down for repairs. I mean, dudes - I want to ride the Carousel. I want some Amelie action. But it was not to be. *Cue Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness*

Saturday at Luna Park. It was bound to be different. Vive la difference!

So there we were, ready to ride, and the carny comes around to do his last check before sending us on our ride - and then the damn man told me that I couldn't ride with Tiny. That I had to stand next to her. That this was a one person pony ride. Clearly he didn't get the fact that Tiny is called Tiny for a reason - she's a featherweight.

Thanks carnie. For taking my dreams. Smashing them to the ground, then stomping on them. Then letting your mongrel dog pee on them. Thanks for nothing punk.

Carnies are bred mean Lexi. Don't be messing with carnie folk. But maybe Tiny can go back later and mess up his carousel with some naughty lipstick action?

You were lucky! Every single time I've been to Luna Park the Carousel has been closed. That is the ONLY thing I want to go on, and it's never open :(

and I agree, Don't be messing with the carnies! They will win, they always win.

That look on Tiny's face is priceless! She does look horrified.

I went on the carousel in Hobart, and got so sick, like really bad car sickness. It was a nightmare, I thought the ride would never end. I'd never felt that way before and I looked even more horrified than Tiny.

Oh gosh, I don't mean to but I just can't help but giggle at Tiny's facial expression.

Darn that nasty carnie >.<

Oh look at her poor little terrified face. Damn carnie man.

Next time you go let me know, I'll act as a decoy and you can ride your horses together. x

Man - your girl is a classic - you need to bottle up that personality and sell it as eau de cologne for people who are all monotone and beige ... like the carni-folk man ...

Oh Tiny! That is the funniest face I have seen in a long time!
A bit like when I went on the Big Shot ride in Las Vegas and my friends told me my "face resembled the Scream mask."

SHOCK HORROR - But WHO will look after me!!!

My husband rode on the carousel with son in Coffs at xmas, couldn't help himself and mounted a grey steed. The carnie caught him on revolution 3, and was heard to screech "Get off you p00f" to which Rich ejected, fastly, and we were left wetting out pants on the ground.

Speaking of teeth, this man had almost three i think...
