New Teeth!

A few weeks ago I was talking about my wonky, crooked teeth.

The good news is, that this weekend I embarked on a quick fix. I realised my perfect teeth dream.

I can hear you groaning. Worrying - oh no, PMM is a goner.

But fear not friends! I am so pleased with my new fangs, I'll share a new pic of my beautiful new pearly whites.
Not only was this treatment ridiculously swift, it was really cheap - and painless! Howzat!? And as a bonus, Dr. Allen threw in some teeth whitening while we were at it.

Just as an aside, Bonjela have just released a study which puts to bed Robin Barker's (who by the way is ordinarily my sometime homegirl) idea that teething does not cause pain. Robin dear, it does. When my teeth move, they hurt, baby getting new teeth = hurt. My babies had huge sad-ons when they were teething. I don't blame them.
Back to my teeth - if you want pearly whites like mine - and let's face it - who wouldn't head to your local supermarche and buy this. Seriously. Edible dental work? What's not to like?!

Your teeth look so real! yet...starngely familiar and alomst edible....

When I read that in Robin Barkers book I threw it in the bin. I disagreed with her so strongly. Everytime Busy got a new tooth she was so out of character and we were wondering "what is wrong with her?" a few days alter a tooth woudl appear...

I tried to make heaps of typos in that last comment in case you didn't notice!

Why clean your dentures, when you can eat them?

(I loved Barker's very sensible book, except that wee bit on teeth. Anything to do with gums - young or old - is painful.)

I have to say this look is tops plus if you get a bit hungry all you have to do is chew a piece off!

Natural! Can't tell you had any work done, which is the way good work should be.

Ok, I just spat out my tea from laughing when I saw that first picture, so thanks for that!! Your teeth look so cute!! BTW I never experienced a teething child, I am not saying that it doesn't exist because my sister's kids cry forever when teeth are coming but my kids never seemed to care! Weird huh!

Do you know that lolly teeth are my favourite pick me up laugh. I put them in and Ben goes into hysterics. I greet him home from work with my teeth in.
It's party central here at the Brockliss household.

Love the pegs! Dare you to wear them to you next official appointment/meeting :P

As for Robin Barker, I binned her book after reading her opinion on teething. Couldn't possibly take seriously anything else she said after that.

i do wonder if the study was by bonjela it was in its interest to say that it does hurt and then sell more teething products...i'm sure when my little Miss's teeth start i might see it differently....
