Tiny. Tiny. Tiny.

When will she learn? Tiny just can't expect to stay up to 11pm and soldier on the next day. Tonight she fell asleep with the book on her head. She not only had bags under her eyes, more like a whole collection of Louis Vuitton luggage. The girl's got stamina. But man oh man, when will she realise she can't burn the candle at both ends? Someone - answer this question that plagues me so! Matt called me to look at Tiny sleeping. I couldn't see her anywhere and thought she must be hiding. I had to look really hard to spot her, fast asleep under the book.

My little chicken is like this. Last night she had massive dark circles under her eyes, but insisted she wasn't tired. Mind you, she had been awake since 4.30am! She finally crashed at 8.30pm. I can see it will be an ugly day today.

Goodness me! Our two have so much in common m'love! I found Haidee last night with 3 "Meg & Mog" books around her face and an atomic wedgie. It took forever for her to sleep last night. I don't know how she does it!

I don't know where they get the stamina from... but they must get it from somewhere (kindy?) because Lacey is the same.

Will you show her that photo today to tell her what happened last night? I'd love to know what she says!

I have a sleeping log of a three year old, as book obsessed as Tiny, but oddly sleep obsessed. She is still passed out in our bed as husbandos bangs cupboard doors as the 6 year old reads out load to me. She's a 7 - 7 sleeper and don't you dare go messing with the pattern. Maybe your party owls will become sleeping logs soon.

That is so cute! Chloe has always done the same.....go, go, go, drop. She once fell asleep hanging upside down from the couch after fighting sleep until about 10pm. Keep that photo for her twenty first!

My nearly 3yr old was the same, put him to bed and he'd jump & jump and run around refusing to settle. We finally worked out that this frantic behaviour was due to overtiredness (dropping the daytime sleep coincided). We now have calming stories or watch Dora/Spot/Diego for 10-20mins post bath PLUS a massage in bed to really relax him. It's more work but at least he goes to sleep when we walk out the door instead of having him up and bounding around the house for hours.
