Move That Ass. Ryan Gosling Told Me To

If Ryan isn't motivation enough for me, I don't know what is.

This week I started C25K. I know, I know. Another day another crazy exercise 'thing'.

But I'm not one for fads.

After the first day I came home totally beet-faced and felt completely shagged. I was so tired I didn't think I'd get to work.

But the next session was easier.

And the third session of week one was easier again. Thank goodness for that.

So this week I start week two of C25K. I'm still doing my other training three days a week (except for last week, I was pooped). So this week is going to be interesting. Six days of exercise. Let's see how that pans out.

But I needed to up the ante and do something a bit different to shake things up in this body of mine. Move more, get rid of some of those excess layers on my stomach. I'm going to be bikini ready before the magazines can tell me it's time to start thinking about being bikini ready. Take that bikinis!

And so continues my heady relationship with exercise. I'm still hooked, six months in, we're totally enamoured with one another.

GO GIRL!

This is so inspiring to read. I am now 13 weeks post birth and SO ready to get back into the exercise game. Although, finding the time to train with 3 little ones under 5 is going to be fun... NOT!

I'm going to sign up to a 24 hr gym and go at night when they are asleep. That's my 1 goal this week, haha.

Sounds like you are completely committed and that is the hardest part. Good luck with the C25K, I know many people who have completed it and are now fully fledged runners.

Me? I'm a spin girl from way back when. I actually want a rower or spin bike for Mothers Day... What is WRONG with me?!

I keep seeing the C25K popping up all over my Facebook and Instagram feed.. I think the universe is trying to tell me something... I'm keen to see how you find it as the weeks progress. I generally reserve running for special occasions (to clamber onboard the early bus home, when toddler shimmies down the outside stairs and takes off for the road, when being chased by a wild animal) but maybe it's time for a rethink!

Yay! I'm up to week 4 of C25K. I am usually a big-time running hater, but it's not so bad when the daily goals are achievable and I can feel myself getting better. And I like being able to post smug-exerciser instagrams from the beautiful places that I run!

That is great! I started the C25K too! I found out that I am the most unfit person in the world. So I am having to take it back a step and do some fast walking first! hahaha
