Taylor Swift is my home girl
Have you seen this yet?
I've got it on repeat. I am addicted. The song is great. But combined with the film clip?
KILLER!
It's like a mini-film. Genius. Taylor just keeps getting better and better. And this clip makes me want to take up some kind of martial arts.
Plus the Mariska Hargitay cameo is pretty bloody awesome. Watch out for her. I love that woman.

What's Your Favourite?
Big question today. Big. Big question.
What's your favourite song - of all time?
You can have a few, but if you had to name one, right this very minute, what's the first one that pops into your mind?
This is mine!
It reminds me of a friend (Catho!), when we were young and carefree. And could go out dancing. And drinking. And dancing. And drinking.
It never fails to put me in a good mood. I know both words. I love the video clip. It's ace. Of base. And then some.
What's yours?

This Is Going to Blow Your Mind
Wasn't that ace?

You Might Like This. I Do.
Sydney three-piece 'Little May' - a beautiful track that's more than worthy of some repeat plays.
Love the film clip too - Sean Dooley's gem.

Kanye/Kimye Spoof:: James Franco and Seth Rogen FTW
Have you seen Kimye's horrible soft porn video? Crumbs. The song is bad enough, then marry it up with that video of limbs all askew on a motorbike, and *that* tie-dyed shirt, and those angry man arms. Well it's a recipe for pseudo-cool dialling up Mannequin (possibly *the* best film ever made).
The problem.
The very excellent cure.
The question I keep asking is: who is Jerome-romey-romey-rome anyway? And why does he care so much?
Thank goodness for James Franco and Seth Rogen's back hair.

Miley Cyrus VS Sinead O'Connor - COLLABORATION. Well. Almost.
This works. I actually think this works.
Call me crazy, or call me maybe - but I kind of like this mix.
What's happened to me?

In Preparation For Frocktober:: A Haircut with Desmond & Molly Jones
So I got my hair cut today! Cue loud cheers, dancing and a ticker tape parade. Maybe some pinatas too.
Amazing, considering I haven't had it cut since May. That's so crazy-town because I really, really love having my haircut. And washed. And blow-dried. It makes me want to curl up in a ball and sleep.
I decided that before Frocktober starts, I had to get myself ready - and what better way than with a haircut.
Ages ago the good people of Desmond & Molly Jones invited me to their salon. I was never able to make it, months passed, and I decided it was time to get a chop. I loved the look of the salon, and they sounded like my kind of people, so I booked myself in with Kate for a cut, et voila! I feel like a new woman.
I am so glad I visited. Besides the deliciously beautiful name, it's a treasure trove of eye candy. Mirrored benches, rosettes adorning the walls, a gold pig, and people that make you feel as though you've been friends for years. I even got to take our new worms there (more on that later) much to everyone's amusement.
It is amazing how having a great hair day can put not only a bounce in your hair but a spring in your step. Kate not only gave me a great cut, but also some great tips on getting the world's biggest dreadlock (aka brat's nest) out of Tiny's hair (more on that later too), and my hair smells like my favourite Evo products.

Disclosure: I paid for the experience. I loved the experience. I wanted to share. I'd totally recommend a visit!

HAPPY FRIDAY!
I've got 5 days of with my family. That's pretty awesome. Mid school holidays, and it's so nice to spend time the four of us at home. Not much to do, nowhere to go, it's actually my idea of bliss.
School holidays are pretty rad.
To keep my smalls busy, I've booked them into a MAKE.PLAY workshop at Object Gallery in Surry Hills for tomorrow. I think they'll love playing and talking worms, who wouldn't?
And while they're doing that Matt and I are going to hang out together in Surry Hills. Squeeee!
I'm getting my haircut. Double squeegee!
I'm listening to that song above, like it's nobody's business, and this one too.
Our landlord wants to inspect our house - we've lived here three years and had one inspection and they're calling it a routine check up. HA! Anyway we're kind of freaking out because our house is what I'd classify a grade A pigsty. It's so small and there's nowhere to put anything. Someone. Send help.

HOLY COLLAB!!! Celine Dion VS Daft Punk VS The Bee Gees = MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN!
Obsessed? Maybe.
Loving it? HELLZ YEAH!
Can this Daft Punk big love ever end? Not with Celine dancing it out, that's fo' shizzle! Check out those moves. And *that* suit!!
And the Bee Gees homage? Sheer brilliance.

This Will Make You Happy.
And if it doesn't? I can't help you.
Who can't love this? It combines Daft Punk With Mario Paint Composer - whatever that is, well whatever it is it's Super Mario! This is a match made in 'Get Lucky' heaven. My 8 year old is going to love this!
Would it be a good time to tell you I've already listened to this three times?

Male Models Do Daft Punk
With great thanks to my awesome friend Heather for pointing me in the right direction, this is hands down, the best thing that's happened to me all week.
And if that's not saying something, I don't know what is.
Bon appetit.

Thicke VS Robin Thicke
VS
Oh how I laugh. I used to love Thicke riding through the city streets as a BMX Bandit. Where's Nic?
Those cropped gloves. Those long luscious locks. Imagine combing those at night. Sigh. I think he looks a bit like a courier. Who knew bike couriers grew up to sing with Pharrell and TI?
So he got older, and naughtier and his hair shrunk.
Which Thicke do you prefer?

How Great Is This?
Much to the disgust of my colleagues I am totally addicted to this song. On repeat. So. Many. Times.
And then I found this (above). Wow. My socks. They just blew off. My skirt. It just blew up.
So freaking clever. People are good.
Happy Friday!

I Can't Stop Playing This Song.

I love this woman.

Listening To.
Have you fallen in love with any music of late?
I am totes mad for Tessellate. I'm loving Haim's 'Falling'. Matt and I are going to see Ben Howard when he's out in April.
I've fallen hard for Oh Mercy's latest album, in particular 'Deep Heat' - and do not even get me started on The XX - 'Fiction'. I've got it on repeat. Over. And over. And over again.
What are you listening to and loving?

Solange Knowles: A Big Giant Girl Crush
I've got this song on repeat. I can't help it. She's so darn good. And her dancing - aye aye aye. She's so ace.
And her style? Well, the girl can work print, pattern and colour like nobody's fool. I love it! She's my new pin up girl. So much so, I've collaged her. She's my new style icon baby!
What music are you listening to and loving?

This Is Our Sunday Afternoon Soundtrack
We're madly getting ready for back to school tomorrow, ironing, cooking, tidying and warming down the kids after an ace holiday. I love school holidays. It's an extra good time to spend extra time with the smalls, and do super fun. We did lots these holidays. I'll report in laterz.
But right now, I wanted to share this tune with you. It's addictive. When we're in the car, the smalls and I do eyebrow dancing to it. It's a good work out for your forehead. And it's funny. And it's fun. And that's what I am all about.
You? What are you all about?
PS - I've installed Disqus to my blog so I can reply to your comments. I did a quick Twitter survey last night and asked bloggers if they replied to all comments. They all said YES! And it echoed in my ears. And I went to bed wracked with guilt. I just can't do it - not for lack of want - but I work almost full time, when I get home I am on parenting and wife-ing duty, I do blogging in 20 minutes and it's just not possible for me. But I read all of them, and appreciate everyone who comments. So I am hoping Disqus will help me respond to all of you awesome readers. Thank you for taking the time to visit my space. You are the bomb. And then some. BOM! BOM! BOM! x
