F Is For Failing.

This Kindergarten mum thing has really overwhelmed me.

We've got notes flying in weekly that are 6 pages long. 6 pages peeps. I can't concentrate and absorb for that long. I forget things. I don't have a PA. Apparently I need a PA to manage these notes.

I can't manage these notes. They're managing me.

I keep missing key dates.

I forget to send notes.

We seem to be on some merry-go-round of gold coin days.

I've forgotten to send my son to school with extra fruit for fruit-o.

SOMEONE HELP ME!

I've even given these notes their very own folder. They've got their own neat little home, but I can't track all the activity.

The thing is, I LOVE being organised, 'ello, 'ello, 'ello, so what's happened 'ere then?

I didn't know my son was meant to wear his joggers every day this week. Where was that note?

I didn't know the Kindy BBQ was on. My husband forgot to share that one with me.

I forgot the gardening gloves for Clean Up Australia Day. That's my own fault. I'll take that one on the chin.

I'm a worthless cheque. A total wreck. A flop!

Anyone got any tips to set me on the straight and narrow?

De-Gluttoning

I have exciting things planned this year people. Exciting things. I read my friend, Carrie's piece about decluttering that was in Health Smart . It has given me even more impetus to live more simply. Live with less. And I love that idea.

So far I've been going through baby clothes and being ruthless. I've gone through our crockery - and have boxed up some pieces that give me the creeps and I don't use. I've started on the toys. I'm filing like it's nobody's business.

Watch out people, I'm paring back. I'm getting organised. 2011 is going to be the year of declutter. De-lovely. Delightful!

I'm (Not) A Celebrity (But) Get Me Out of Here (Anyway)

'We're not in Kansas anymore Toto. And I'm expecting a tornado through these parts any moment now. Oh wait, it looks like it's already been.' - (not) from the Wizard of Oz
Seriously folks, I am tidying up our house. I've been selling stuff on eBay. I have a boot full of goodies for the op shop. I am recycling like a maniac. And yet, our house looks as though a paper/clothes/toy bomb has exploded. Where oh where have I gone wrong?

I've lost my tidying mojo and am willing to live in this cesspit of debris because there are no homes for all this stuff. I've even discovered a box that hasn't been opened since we moved here four and a half years ago.
In times of mess and more mess, what's a gal to do? How do you deal with the clutter and paper traps?

All By Myself

Matt's gone painting. Noah's finally asleep. Scout is calling out (ARGH!), and I am trying to file away our floating factory of paperwork.. I have had such a crummy day. I am glad it's drawing to a close.
I'm tired of the house being a mess. I went to Office Works today to stock up on folders, to help tidy things up. Boring, I know, but necessary.

So that will be keeping me busy over the next few days, trying to rectify three years of floating paperwork.

I can feel the deep joy.

Heck, I need a holiday. I hear Byron calling...
