So. What's The Go?

Why's it so quiet around these parts?

Oops. There goes a tumbleweed.

Wow. There goes another.

I can hear an echo-echo-echo-cho-cho-cho.

Yawn.

Are you there reader, it's me. Lexi-poo.
For my record keeping purposes, I found this image somewhere. If it's yours, let me know - happy to credit it, a beautiful and intriguing photo of mama with baby.
PS - Just for the record, I don't get my news information from The Simpsons. I haven't watched The Simpsons since I was 12. And that was at least 2 years ago.
EDIT:: The excellent Sarah has come to my rescue - this is the photographer behind the above image, beautiful and beguiling - you should check out Eric Lafforgue's Flickr stream. Amazing.

Serendipity

I've kind of gone insular at the moment. There's lots going on (heck, I'm sure that's true of most lives). I'm sure I'll write about it later, but right now, I'm just digesting. It's a quiet thing, but there's serendipitous moments that gleam through it.

Tiny's keeping me on my toes by getting into everything. Including the garbage bin (she must have got that gene from me - though I tend not to eat two day old peanut butter crusts found in there with dustballs).

The Doctor is tired, and almost at the end of the term. Holidays next week. I think we'll get out of Sydney for a few days and breathe some country air.

Matt and I. Well we're enjoying the odd spot of sunshine creeping in our windows. Fingers of it in the mid-morning. I'm enjoying turning the oven on with no idea what I'm going to bake. But I just gotta bake.

And right now, aren't these camellias spectacular, spectacular?

Quiet Music

I'm having a real love affair with Bon Iver's music at the moment. Love to love.
