I've kind of gone insular at the moment. There's lots going on (heck, I'm sure that's true of most lives). I'm sure I'll write about it later, but right now, I'm just digesting. It's a quiet thing, but there's serendipitous moments that gleam through it.
Tiny's keeping me on my toes by getting into everything. Including the garbage bin (she must have got that gene from me - though I tend not to eat two day old peanut butter crusts found in there with dustballs).
The Doctor is tired, and almost at the end of the term. Holidays next week. I think we'll get out of Sydney for a few days and breathe some country air.
Matt and I. Well we're enjoying the odd spot of sunshine creeping in our windows. Fingers of it in the mid-morning. I'm enjoying turning the oven on with no idea what I'm going to bake. But I just gotta bake.
And right now, aren't these camellias spectacular, spectacular?

Sounds to me like a very good life indeed.
Ready to declare non-elective hibernation in this house. Needing some of your slow (ok, not the garbage thing) and quiet stuff.
You paint such a lovely picture. I wish it was winter here so it wouldn't get so hot in my kitchen when I turn the oven on (yeah, I'm stubborn enough to bake even when it's broilingly hot outside).
beautiful camellias :)
At Disneyland, they had ones like this but with red flecks - so it looked like the "painting the roses red" scene from Alice in Wonderland.
