Tomorrow Is A New Day:: The End of Google Reader

As of the 1st July - Google is closing down Google Reader. 

Which is not good news, right?

Tiny At School

I realised I hadn't shared an update on Tiny and school when I received an email asking how she was going. 

I think we're six weeks in (?) and it's better. Definitely better than those first couple of weeks.

Tiny actually told Matt that she LOVES school and had had her best ever day earlier this week.

We have our ups and downs, and there's a bit of confusion when she comes out mid-week in normal clothes, and we have to let her know it's a school day, but she's cool. 

She's still shy, but she's warming up. 

We do readers every afternoon during the week, which, let's be honest, can be a bit of a drag, but when it comes down to it, it takes just a few minutes - and it's helping her. I can see her growing in confidence, and starting to blossom. 

It's easier on the heart now, much easier.

Little J Update

Yesterday there were some concerns raised about the legitimacy of Little J and the fundraising. I spent some more time yesterday morning to ensure that your donations were going to the right place. They are. 

Holly and Sam have made updates to the site overnight to keep you abreast of the situation. 

Little J is in a serious condition. His Dad flies in today to be with him and his wife. 

If you can donate, in some small way, this can help their family be together at such a difficult time. 

So while we are diverse in geography, we can rally to be a community and help.

Kind of Like The Pied Piper

I'm doing a bit of site maintenance on pottymouthmama over the next week or so. Spring cleaning of sorts. There will be a few changes. If you don't like anything I do let me know. Maybe we can compromise. Or maybe I can just ignore you, even if you type really loud.

I'm reading back through Leni & Rose's tips and tricks to get some pointers. Man, that girl is good.
