Blogtoberfest Day 3: Because I Love You

Last night was the opening of Matt's exhibition. Let me give you some advice up front. Do not attempt to wear ridiculously high heels after an extended stiletto hiatus, while juggling a small ten kilo baby on your hip all night. Today I feel as though my spaghetti arms are more than al dente.

I did however have the most wonderful hair piece created by this artful genius. I also got my hair cut to accompany said hair piece. However I have no photos. Oops.

The exhibition, for anyone interested, was fabulous and Matt's works (without being completely biased) are beautiful.

And now on the anti-climax it's cold in Sydney. And raining.

I'm in the mood for a little baking. Nigella's 'birthday cake' to be precise. For my Mum! It was her birthday last week and we're going to celebrate. I love baking on cold, rainy, grey days.

Have you got sore feet? Sore arms? A sore head perhaps? Or maybe a bruised ego? Tell Aunty PottyMouthMama and she'll try and solve your problems.

No photo...unfair. Yay for Matt's exhibition going well, not such a big yay for stilleto sore tootsies.

I too could think of nothing better to do on a cold, wet, rainy, grey day than baking!

I reckon Nigella looks a little puffy around the eyes in that pic... maybe to many chardies with the ladies???
Can you show us where we could see pics of Matts work online maybe???
Would love to see.
Post night in heels : i always find my calf muscles feel as if they are struggling to hold me up after being shotened to 5 mm for a long period...

I love Nigella. She has boobs and a bum and she licks the bowl.

I used to be able to run the 100 meters in my high heels. In fact the first visit to my in-laws was in heels, but sadly they lived in the bush, so I looked like a bimbo.
Now all I wear are flat shoes. I had my kids and thought I had to ditch the shoes. I tried to wear them the other day, but I felt like a footy player in drag at a review.
I admire you PMM for being a Sex and The City yummy mummy and not a Soccer in The City mummy like me.
x

I'd love to see a pic - did anyone else have a camera that night. Otherwise I see a hot date coming up for you, with hairpiece, heels - and a camera!

oh dear auntypottymouth, my arms, elbows, wrists all feel like they're pulling out of my shoulders, after unrelenting days of lugging nappy buckets full of water from our cellar. I'm sure the solution is to simply party and drink the contents, (wine, not the dirty water) however I'm concerned the whole house might end up floating down the street. More drastic drainage work to be done, but in the meantime, my poor arms - and it's seriously getting in the way of my crafting.

Still have slime feel in my mouth apres snail. I'm going to clean my teeth!

As always, you brighten my day!
