Tess of the d'Urbervilling

Everyone's a d'Urberville in our family. There's Tiny d'Urberville. Dr d'Urberville. Matt d'Urberville. PottyMouth d'Urberville.
I have officially gone d'Urberville mad.
Did you watch it last night on ABC1? Clearly I did. And got swept up in it. Now I can't wait for next Sunday night.
That Gemma Arterton is a real beauty. I love looking at her beautiful face. She's - wow-bam-boom! Incredible.

I loved it!!! I can't wait for next sunday night. My favorite part was when he carried the girls over the flooded creek and the littlest one was so nervous and then all awkward. I cracked up! Also, the bit when he kissed her wrist and said "I promised myself I wouldn't kiss you until you were mine" SWOON! Even for a skinny pom

Oh, my Mr wouldn't let me watch it! I can't wait for it to get to iView (I already checked but it isn't up today).

Haha - I was going to go to bed "in five minutes" but I got sucked in and watched the whole episode. Was good, can't wait for more couch bludging next weekend for the final installment.

How good was it!?? She is stunning, her skin is amazing. Those english sure know their stuff when it comes to avoiding premature sun ageing... except the Ibiza ones...

Yes, loved it! But had misty rape nightmares mind you.

Looking forward to next Sunday. :)

Sorry to be a party pooper - but I just can't do Thomas Hardy. Why do children always have to die in his books? It breaks my heart. And, and... I can't say what I want to say because judging by the comments that bit hasn't come up yet.

Oh swoon...I just caught up with Tess on iview and am utterly hooked. I loved the part where the milkmaids get carried across the flood waters by angel (and isn't he just..?).

Delicious stuff. I will be heart broken if it doesn't all work out. Poor Tess must have such a heartache.
