But Thanks For Sharing!

Teenagers! Gather 'round! I've got something to share with you.

I don't need to see your butt cheeks hanging out the bottom of denim cut-offs.

I don't!

I have my own ample derriere to swing around in all manner of clothing, though I tend to cover mine up. But just in case I do feel the urge, I can take a look at my derriere in a g-string, or a boy-leg brief, or even - gasp! - newd!

When I see you walking down the road with half your booty hanging out the back, I feel sad! Buy a size up! If you don't it can also result in camel-toe-itis! Just because clothes are a larger size doesn't mean they cost more - treat yourself. You can thank me later!

Call me prudish, call me PottyMouthMama, whatever you want to call me is ok by me, I just don't want to see the junk in yer trunk.

You might think I'm old, and yes, I am a parent, but I'm not old at 31. Trust me, I remember being a teenager - and I had no urge to hang my butt out for the world to share. In fact I was infatuated with over-sized tees bearing Malcolm X, Arrested Development quotes and Keppers to hide my lanky frame. Gulp.

Let Jessica Simpson set the example here. She bought a size up and her cheeks aren't on the menu. BUY A SIZE UP! I don't want to see the boo in your booty.
And the image above? Front bottom? Junk in her kerplunk? Whatever that look is, she's headed straight to Wrongtown.

We are kindred spirits! I too am 31and thought keppers were the height of fashion as a teenager. I shudder to recall. But you're right - no desire whatsoever to flash my bits to the other shoppers at the mall! It's scary! Cover up, girlies, PLEASE!

I use to own my favourite pair of cross colour jeans back in the day that went totes good with the Malcom X and Arrested Dev and Public Enemy tees.
The boys even scare me more, what is it with the young fellas and the coin slot? Perhaps all that hair gel has effected the brain - gees now I really do sound old!

Amen.
I am tired of seeing all these teens with tiny shorts/skirts on that leave next to nothing to the imagination. They are just asking for it, really!
No wonder there are so many sex offenses these day's. Cover up!

Deep down I think decent men would be more interested in a girl who has a little class and not making the statement "I'm easy!"...
Unless you want and like being treated like a piece of meat. In that case Wake Up you silly girl. You WILL regret this later on. :D

Just sayin.

Thanks for posting this. It needed to be said and I feel better now. ha ha

I too love over-sized shirts and have a lanky frame!

hmmm not sure if we should be pointing fingers at teenagers or whether we need to look at our society as a whole and the culture they are exposed to. have you seen the music clips on Rage lately? They're tantamount to soft porn. Our girls are growing up being bombarded by increasingly sexually explicit images of how women should look.
If we want to start pointing fingers we should start looking at the female editors of the magazines that encourages this kind of raunch culture and then tells young women that they are feminists if they get their knockers out. That's fucked. The girls you target are a mere product.

Keppers? Ive forgotten all about those babies. They were almost as bad as Kuta Lines jumpers. You`ve just made my day. x

Perhaps I ought to applaud the upcycling jeans into a boob tube? Nah. Well maybe.

What is that 'top'? Do you think her Nana made it for her before she hit the town?

Ugh, that photo is just too much. I'm fresh off my teenage years, but if I ever saw a girl wearing that I'd be handing her my nanna cardi quick smart!

I was walking up the terrace in the city one day and was carrying a box. It was heavy and I had to use both hands to lug it up the street. Why I was carrying the box is a mystery to me....but I digress.
The wind blew my dress and it floated up into the box and stayed there. Yes. I was walking up the terrace with my dress stuck in the box and my target knickers on full display.
That was enough to stop me from flashing my derriere or jugs at anyone.
I like my bits to be a present. You wrap yourself up for your chosen one to tear the paper off. With his teeth or without.....it's for him and me and nobody else has to be tormented by that visual.

I have heard of that town. way too many teenagers are living there. The sad thing is I see some twenty somethings living there too. The men are in on this "fashion" of the pants being half way down their booties. Something I will never understand, and maybe do not want to understand. Maybe it is time to give some wedgies around town to get these pants pulled up.

high five sister - I thought I was the only 31 year old prude wearing my bum nicely tucked into my shorts, instead of out. glad to know there are others out there..x

I like this look. I'm a 33 y/o mom of 3....but I'm also a wife! I believe in dressing this way for my husband when we are out. I love it when my husband is "checking me out" all the time. maybe that's just one reason why we are still married after 15 years. And like in Europe, my kids don't think anything of it. We are too prudish in the U.S. and should adopt their care free attitude. Not the other way around. ~Kimberley
