LEGO LEGO LEGO: And It's the School Holidays

What better way to celebrate the school holidays than with one of our favourite, most enduring toys of all time, LEGO!

These holidays have seen the Doctor madly reading Harry Potter, and falling in love with the characters and the magic. Next stop he wants to read Lord of the Rings. He's already started saving his pocket money for the biggest set of LEGO Lord of the Rings imaginable.

I've never been much for mystical fantasy - however with a seven year old who is crazy for it, I can't help but go along for the ride. I am hooked!

So if you have a like-minded small child who would be keen for some sweet Lord of the Rings LEGO action, this is for you!

You could win 1 of 5 LEGO Lord of the Rings Prize Packs including:

Shelob Attacks RRP $39.99

Gandalf Arrives RRP $22.99

To enter, all you have to do is tell me in 25 words or less if you were the Lord or Lady of something - what would it be? And why?

----------------------------
Open only to Australian residents.
Must be 25 words or less to be eligible to enter.
Please ensure you leave your email address.
Total prize pool is valued at $314.90. Each prize pack is valued at $63.98.
Competition runs from Tuesday 10th July 2012 - Monday 16th July 2012. Winners will be announced on PMM on Sunday  July, 2012 and notified by email.

I'd be the Lord of Good LEGO Prices in Australia. Good gawd, you're paying almost 2x what they go for in the US! That's just WRONG!

Thanks!

Next week I'll be a Lady of Leisure! 'Leisure' understood to mean cooking, cleaning & sorting crap... oh and quality time with the kids, naturally!

Can I do both boys' entries in one post???
The 8 year old said -
"Lord-of-Magic, I will make trillions of Pokemon cards and lego sets appear as well as make my annoying big brother disappear"

The 11 y/o said - "Lord of living lego - get Dad to build a bigger lego shelf, and get Mum to buy more lego for me"

(I knew I shouldn't have read this out to the boys last night - they were in bed, but kept talking about the competition & what they would me "Lord" of, for the next half hour or so, and who would get which set if they win!!)

I had the boys do this last night as their bedtime activity. Here we go!

Joshua, bearing 8 space age years would be Lord SoccerGoalScorerStar, as he kicks with his power soccer boots, goal cladded soccer balls will dot our neighbourhood pavements, so the old Nanna neighbour will have some for herself.

Tristan, 6 years of Alien age, would be Lord Omnitrix. With robotic Omnitrix eyes, he would ward off bad Aliens that dare come to Lady's OpShopAddictMum kitchen and steal her pots of creamy butter chicken.

The end! xx

I would be " Lady of make the children sleep instantly". I would be very "kind" and share out these skills though. At least that's what skill I wish I had!

I would be Lady of the foot stepith on Lego and swearalot!

I would be a " Lady of Leisure". Having these school holidays off work has shown me how much I could get done, how much more time I'd have for my boys, how much cleaner my house could be ( but probably wouldn't), how much more I could see my friends & how much more time I would have to do things I want to do. Such a drag that a full time job gets int eh way of me becoming a lady of leisure......

Sally Joy said...

I would be the Lady of Shalott like Anne of Green Gabels x even Lego loves some Tennyson.

That's pretty cool that they have Lord Of The Rings sets for Lego. I remember having a blast with Lego sets for space and Lego sets of mid evil times.
