#HAPPYGIVING - Christmas Reader Giveaway from Westfield

My favourite time of the year is Christmas.

Have I told you that about 708 times now? Probably.

And my favourite part of Christmas is giving.

Yes, yes, it's lovely to be given a beautiful gift, but there is nothing that can swell my heart more than giving someone a gift. It makes me insanely happy.

This man was born to give.

To celebrate #HAPPYGIVING I am totally happy to collaborate with Westfield to give you the opportunity to win a $100 Westfield voucher.

Now wouldn't that be awesome this Christmas?!

Just leave a comment below and tell me how you're going to share the gift of giving this Christmas.

Terms & Conditions:

Open to Australian readers only
Open from Monday 25th November at 7am. Closes Friday 29th November at 11:59pm.
Only one entry per person.
Please ensure you leave contact details for me. Sadly I am not psychic and can not dedicate my life to tracking down winners. As much as I'd really love to.

Happy to give, I am always.
Scouring the shops throughout the days.
Trying to find the best Christmas treat,
Something it enjoy throughout the summer heat!

Money doesn't matter, it is the thoughts that count,
But money does help, and $100 would be the perfect amount.

I share love through food. Each year I bake up a storm & give little hampers to the kids teachers, to friends, to mums who help out with my kids & of course I leave some for us to gobble up. I get a huge amount of joy from seeing people eat good I've made for them. It's why come Christmas Day I'll be cooking lamb, turkey, chicken & all the sides for 11 of us even though it'll probably be over 35 degrees & I'll be sleep deprived cause my baby never sleeps & I'm growing a new human too. It's why I'll make a pavalova & cheesecake for dessert. I love giving my family a great meal that makes them sit back full as can be but as I put dessert on the table they find room for more. It's just the best feeling :)

I'm always the last one to open my presents on Christmas Day as I'm too busy watching everyone else open theirs and enjoying the oohs and ahhs as they open presents that they love. My favourite is my nephew when he gets something he oves. He usually goes straight to his mum yelling ' mum mum loooook' It gets me every single time.

8 years ago I started to celebrate Christmas again when I became a mum for the first time. I hadn't loved it since I was 12 and my dad died 3 days before Xmas, I share the gift of giving with my daughters by making them both really explore the idea of Christmas and how family is the gift and without it life is really sad. By my sharing of my sad past they are understanding that sharing constitutes your time, your love and presents from Santa!

I share the gift of giving by buying a few extra gifts to wrap up and put under the Kmart Wishing Tree. I love being able to show my family how much joy you can get from doing something nice for people in need.

Like every year,we are going to buy presents for the people who live in AGED CARE and have no family around. Every year me and my son buy gifts & bake cupcakes for the aged care people and present them a day before christmas. It feels so good to see smiles on their faces.I am sure my son is learning a lot through this...

A friend of mine has donated his holiday house to a recently arrived refugee family with 2 young children. The least I can do is donate some presents to help their first Xmas in Australia be a happy one.

we're doing a gratitude themed advent calendar with my almost 3 yr old. trying to counterbalance the frenzy of present opening and santa madness... I never wanted to be the mum that used Santa as a threat for good behavior.. but i am sure i will end up eating my words!!

I listened to a radio interview yesterday which reminded me of how wonderful Christmas is for children. I've been very 'guilty' of buying them mainly presents that I think they need for Christmas. This year I would like to give them the gift of a real Christmas present, the awesome surprise of something they really want from the big man, Santa. x

I am going to cook up a storm on Christmas morning, ham, roast turkey, gravy, vegetables, salads, desserts and more, nothing like giving people a full belly to make the day special!

I love love love Christmas too and, although I struggle with gift-buying for certain family members/friends, there are others who are easy! And it's always such a great feeling when you find/make the perfect gift :) I usually do more handmade things but sadly this year have just too much going on. I still will set aside a couple of days for baking up some yummies! And starting or building on my own little family's Christmas traditions. Thanks for the giveaway :)

I'm giving back to the whole town with a Xmas party featuring carols and Keith on the piano; I think it will be an affair to remember. Joy to the world indeed! Nothing better than bringing a community together with song...

I am giving the gift of healthy food to my family this year instead of bowing to friends and extended family, allowing crap to be consumed "because it's Christmas" or "so they don't feel left out"

I've laybyed lots of awesome stuff for the kids.. first time I've done that this year.. and would love to be able to give my kids teachers something special too for all their hard work and dedication. I will be serving up yummy food, even if nobody turns up and it's just Hubby, me and our 3 kids!!

Have you seen the blog post gone viral about banning presents for her kids this year? Well I'm doing the opposite. Instead of dictating to others what they can and cannot give my children, I'm giving the gift of time to my nieces & nephews. The boys & I are going to the local planetarium & girls are getting mani pedis...BUT I bet they would still like some iTunes vouchers & Mars bars ;)
OR I could find a killer dress & heels for me

We will buy another (Oxfam) goat and perhaps a chicken or 2 for a family member! Stella is buying for the Berry Merry Christmas appeal- I think that's the best gift when your little people want to donate to charity. R xxx

By sharing my bedazzling personality with the world! Lol kidding of course! I will most definitely be buying some gifts for disadvantaged kids this xmas as I have no kids of my own. We need to spread the compassion and generosity to the community!

I've just become an Aunty for the first time,
And so will continue my answer with rhyme.
Because Lexi, I know, you're a lover of words,
And wasn't Tiny or the Dr a fan of birds

Anyway, I digress, so I'll get back on track,
Christmas, the man in red and his big sack.
Brings joy to many, excitement and fun,
A day lazing with family often out in the sun.

Gift giving plays a big part and as I mentioned above
My gorgeous nephew Ryder J has joined us - and I want to shower him in love.
Love in the form of cuddles first of all,
But also in the form of a present stack nice and tall.

So sharing the gift of giving means to me,
Buying presents for the wee one, which will fill me with glee.
Celebrating his first Christmas - a new baby is here,
And it will help me in my quest to become Aunty of the year ;)

The kids are excited about heading to Kmart to choose a gift each for their charity tree - which will go to a disadvantaged child.

Oh so many ways, all the thank you gifts to my beautiful friends who've supported me throughout the year, juggling work and children couldn't be done without a great network of friends.
Gifts for my co-workers who make work bearable. lol.
Neighbours, teachers, extended family, there will be something for all of them.
It really is such a joy giving isn't it. I even joined in the FMS kris kringle so I'll even be getting a little something myself this year. yay!
Merry Christmas to you, hope there is something under the tree for you also.

I was talking to my flatmate the other night about Christmas and he is out of work at the moment and asked me not to get him anything. I already have, so it too late :) I asked him to please not take away my pleasure of giving.
I don't give with the expectation of receiving back. I love thinking of what to get for people and usually follow the Something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read rule.

It's a tough time of year to be out of work. I know this as a fact! My husband got told he doesn't have a job as of the end of next week, so we're madly working out what to do. You're a good woman Vicky, looking after your flattie so well. x

I've got a pile of 60 assessments to mark and 4 to write myself....can I give everyone a credit and just be done with it? :) I jest of course. I'm actually looking forward to Christmas with my little ones, grown boy and my Ma and Grandma, giving us all some room to exhale and enjoy each other's company.

I'd spend it on my Mum she's 82 and freaking AWESOME!!!!! When ever I need her help she packs her bags flies up to my home and helps me look after my 3year old, her only grand child, every time she does this she blows me away, she does what she can and it's always more than what I deserve, we love her and would love to spoil her this xmas.

I will be sharing the gift of giving by asking my partner to help me with the christmas shopping for once.

I will be spending Xmas with my family in Canberra so while my apartment is free I've lent it to a friend of a friend who couldn't afford the financial burden of holiday rentals in Sydney to spend Xmas with their family. So why not lend a hand this Xmas!!

Always keen to pay it forward... What you give out comes back to you more. I'm donating to water, toys, clothing and food for the kids affected by typhoon haiyan. People forget after a short period and the poor kids. It was a natural disaster, it can't be helped. @sixinchheel
