Best Beauty Buys:: Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightening Mascara
So the other day I shouted from the rooftops - or at least shared with everyone on Instagram, I really, really love this mascara.
Not only does it make my eyelashes look at least 20cm* longer - it makes the whites of my eyes appear whiter - due to the navy added to the formula, it curls my lashes (goodbye curling wand and wincing in pain when I catch my eyelid - yowsers), and the formula is sensitive enough for my delicate eyes, I can wear it daily.
It's not clumpy, it doesn't flake, it's easy to apply and the colour is a rich black - but with those magical blue particles.
Hooray!
I've even ditched my regular make-up regime and have been wearing just mascara and a slick of colour on the lips - so dramatic a difference does this mascara make. I'm a fan of that mascared look coupled with a strong lip. Yes. I did just say strong lip. What a tosser.
Anyway - this, my friends, you will like.
Smashbox was founded by beauty royalty - the great grandsons of makeup legend Max Factor, Dean and Davis Factor. All Smashbox products are designed to withstand the harsh studio lights - they are super duper good and tested for picture-perfect results.
Smashbox products are available from Kit Cosmetics
Disclosure: This product was sent to me for review - however I had no obligation to do so. I will only tell you about products I genuinely love and use and think everyone should know about. Honesty is after all the best policy. I use it, I love it, I wanted to share.

What's In My Kit?
By now if you read my blog or follow me on Instagram, you know I am a big fan of lip colour.
I go through phases, and for many, many years I was only into glosses. I really love the look of a glossy lip, but as I've gotten older, I've developed a new appreciation for lip colour - and all the goodness it can bring you.
I am a firm believer that even if you have no other make up on, putting a slick of colour on your lips can help you feel a bit more groomed, add some colour to your face as well as put some pep in your step.
This week I am trying a new colour that was sent to me from Kit Cosmetics.
This new lipstick is not only a fab colour (Party Fever), it's long-lasting and pigment loaded - meaning the colour is super vibrant. Plus it contains vitamins A, C and E to moisturise and lip conditioners chamomile and aloe to soften up your pout.
At only $24.95 I can afford to buy a few and change my look as often as I please! For the full colour range click over here. Next on my shopping list is Task Master and Show Stopper. What's not to love?!

Sniffing Out Support

If you know me then you'll know that I love beauty products. I love my old faithfuls, and yet, there is always room in my bathroom cabinet to try out something new.
kit has just launched Support Scent (as opposed to support hose which is supremely good so I hear). Dubbed 'beauty with the feel-good factor', it's a new scent to let those with vision impairment sense your support. A fresh, unisex fragrance for Guide Dogs Australia to raise social awareness and also some much needed money!
You can go instore or buy online now, and for a pocket-sized fragrance it's only $5 (it's a steal in anyone's book!).
All the proceeds go to GDA.
You can also buy the Support Scent Body Wash, Support Scent Body Lotion or a delicious Support Scent fragranced soy candle.
Plus if you pop instore, a select few stores will have their own wee guide dog plus Guide Dog Volunteer. Pretty cool huh?
