It's Not Just Different. It's Wrong.

the only caption I can come up with is what her husband is thinking: hubba hubba.
Apparently last night was crickets night of nights at the Alan Border Medal.

The thing is, I don't give a toss what night it is because I just can't get pat this frothy monstrosity of a dress (worn by Hayley Bracken). Clearly she was going by Chanel's mantra of 'before you leave home take one thing off.' Unfortunately I think Hayley has taken off the wrong thing.

Discuss.
On the flip side, Lara Bingle looks like a Goddess. For bonus points discuss this too.

If even my Man says "Wow. That's an awful dress!", then I'm afraid there are no two ways about it, it's an awful dress.

He even went so far as to say Ms Bingle's dress was "...much better" & he has some sort of weird thing against her, so that is saying something too. Something like, her dress was much better perhaps. ;)

Illusion netting is never a good thing - and when it's embroidered with strategically placed flowers to barely cover your nipples, yet draw attention to your remarkably spherical bosoms... Well, you're obviously a WAG at an Aussie sporting awards do...

Lara Bingle's frock is much better, sexy - which is obviously the dress code for the night - yet more subtle.

Thats a shocker. Some people just dont get it do they? If you were going to attend an event where you knew would be photographed by the media wouldnt you think to take a few shots first to see if it would be transparent/indecent/wrong? (there are a few other words but they are too unladylike to put into writing)

Meanwhile, the best my boobs could do is maybe hold up a skirt, if I tucked them in tight enough.

I'd like to say, good on her, strut your stuff honey, and if you've got it flaunt it, really I would, support your sisters and girl power and all that jazz...but a little subtlety goes a long way.

All she needs is a diamante butterfly to alight on her nipple!

I am so glad I’m not alone … and she’s taking credit for this ‘creation’.

First things first … the sheer material. I’m not against sheer material when it’s nicely accompanied with strategic lining … but do I have to learn so much about the gravity defying breasts? I don’t know enough about cricket WAGS to know whether it’s no children or surgery (and really I couldn’t give a damn, but the point is I was living quite nicely without the question, and now I have the answer to deal with as well!

Next … where did the idea for a blue skirt come from … hey I don’t have enough cream in the material stash, but I have plenty of blue.

Maybe the decision to have a skirt was last minute because a g-string looked like crap and it was all she had.

Sorry … way too much sarcasm in one post. Time for a nanna nap!

Tacky, tacky, tacky. And not even original. Doesn't it look like a nasty version of that dress Halle Berry wore when she won her Oscar? Or perhaps all that sheer netting stuff is a nod to Winter Olympics ice skating costumes.

I'm not a Lara fan (and my husband has a weird aversion to her as well), but I think she looks gorgeous and much more appropriate.

Dreadful. Theres something to be said for leaving a little (a lot) to the imagination. And as my husband had said who wants to be the poor guy with her with every other man in the place ogling his missus and knowing too much about her I mean really!

"More class less a$s" is the usual saying for fashion faux pas like this but I am trying to think of something witty and clever to rhyme with lady lumps/boozies/shirt potatoes along these lines.

More coffee/chocolate or a bit of lunch and I may just come up with something

In the meantime lara wins on this one (But I too am not a fan shes in the trashy category too I dont care "where the bloody hell are ya!" or whatever the campaign was)

Bianca I am so with you (on both the skirt comment AND wishing I could say all power to you sister)

And whoever said it sorry cant recall which comment but yes BAD rip off of Halle Berrys dress which was so much better in so many ways

Nothing like a little bit of fashion no nos to get us all het up ha ha

I think it's hideous. A little piece of netting does not hide the fact that she went out to dinner with her hooters on full display.
It's classy to leave your bits hidden. Not in a habbit, but more Audrey Hepburn at the WAGS. She's more Audrey Hepboobs.

I think she (the one in the flower number) thought it was an audition for dancing with the stars. And Lara, she's angelically stepping away from all her wee little scandals.

Does she have children? Did they see her in this dress? Is that how she wants to be seen? Does she understand the universal laws of gravity?

So many questions...

two words for the top nightmare: white trash.

... as for Ms Bingle very few people look good with that slicked hair- methinks she pulls it off well.

That first dress = just awful.
Lara Bingle = nice dress. Now if she can only learn how to smile and not look so stuck up.

That is all from me.

I just saw Hayley Bracken on TV stating that she designed it herself with inspiration coming from the ocean and rainforest and that she was going with the current trend. Really? I didn't know that was the current trend???

Initially I really liked what Lara Bingle was wearing but on closer inspection, the $90, hard to get, Chanel tattoo just turns me off the whole outfit.

Apparently she made it, which just kind of makes it even worse.

I hope someone has alerted the Go Fug Yourself girls to this abberation.

Apparently she's planning on wearing it to some other events as well. Noice.

Oh dear dear dear ! Oh dear. OH Dear. that about says it from my end except, I cannot imagine how she looked in the mirror and was happy with how she looked, let alone the planning for wearing this .... thing.
Yes Ms bingle looks much better, she looks lovely.
