It's Friday Night. Do You Know Where Your Bloggers Are?

Have you had a good day or a bad day?

I have had a no good, very bad, awful, terrible, horrible day.

So let's fast forward onto better, brighter things.

I'm sending you off around the world in just a few simple clicks.

First stop - off to see my sister, Sarah, who just came back from a positively dreamy trip to Paris and London. She's just started capturing those first few days over on Calico + Ivy's blog - be inspired.

Next stop, you're keen to check out Germany while you're over in Europe, ja? Then check in on beautiful Bianca and her babes in a German summer. No wonder she's heading to Sydney soon.

Everyone knows that Tasmania is my idea of Utopia. Despite never having visited. No matter, I'm living vicariously through Michelle of Hugo and Elsa fame. Literally feast your eyes over here.

So you find yourself in Tassie - you must, absolutely must pop into The Hut Chronicles. Marian's garden is evolving, it's a joy to behold.

And one more stop on this whirl wind tour - have a cup of tea with Mrs Smith. This post resonates with me like there's no tomorrow. Thank you Mrs Smith for writing it so beautifully and so bang on.   You are an inspiration lady.

What's that dear reader? You want MORE? MORE??? Ok. Have this song. If you can listen to this and not be in a good mood and want to crazy dance with the kiddies, then I honestly do not know what's wrong with you.

Good night and good luck.

Bump Up The Jam

Thanks to one of my good Twitter friends I have now realised the error in my ways. I now know what my life has been missing. If only I had more hair to Bump. Please ensure you watch the video to realise the Holy Grail.
Potentially I could go from flat to fabulous in seconds. That certainly does sound enticing, doesn't it? I mean who doesn't want a massive bump/beehive on the back of their hair. And when you're in the throes of a passionate embrace, just excuse yourself quickly and remove the bumpit. You don't want to give the game away now do you ladies?
Oh my - they even have a Hollywood Bump it (do you think that might come with Sandra Bullock's husband since he's on the outer?).
The best bit? ANYONE CAN BE A STYLIST! Who knew? I would never have dreamt that!
I wonder exactly just which celebs, fashionistas and beauty queens are bumping it. No, I really DO want to know. I'm sure it wouldn't be easy to spot them, it's so natural. Manu Feildel? Is he bumping it? Jenny Hawkins? Surely she's not bumping it. Elle McPherson? No way, there's no bumping it there. Holly Valance? Potentially she could use a bump it, but rather than spending $49.95, I'm guessing she'd go with her own hair stylist to go from flat to fab.
This makes getting an undercut positively criminal. I need more hair to bump.

It's Not Just Different. It's Wrong.

the only caption I can come up with is what her husband is thinking: hubba hubba.
Apparently last night was crickets night of nights at the Alan Border Medal.

The thing is, I don't give a toss what night it is because I just can't get pat this frothy monstrosity of a dress (worn by Hayley Bracken). Clearly she was going by Chanel's mantra of 'before you leave home take one thing off.' Unfortunately I think Hayley has taken off the wrong thing.

Discuss.
On the flip side, Lara Bingle looks like a Goddess. For bonus points discuss this too.

This Might Make My Head Hurt

Nicole 'Sunscreen' Kidman with Keith singing a duet for Simon Baker at G'day Australia which coincidentally is funded by tax payers.

Next time, maybe we can all chip in for a choreographer to guide Nicole through some dance moves that are more akin with SYTYCD rather than your local RSL dancing around a handbag. Waddaya say?

Personally, I would prefer Nicole to ressurect her BMX bike.

PS - And Keith can we get some karaoke style words bouncing across a screen? Thangyouverymudge.

The Movies I Don't Talk About

There are a lot of movies that I don't talk about. I watch a lot. Matt and I, we love a good movie. And we hate a bad one. I don't really talk about the bad ones. It's like I want to delete them from my mind. But then I think, well I should put up a lighthouse around them, alert the innocent to stay away - stay away. Don't waste your time! Watch a classic instead!

So here they are, just two of the movies I don't rate:

Made of Honour. No matter how desperate you are to see Patrick Dempsey, it ain't worth it. Matt wouldn't stay in the same room, and I fast forwarded. So bad. Unless you like a lot of cheese. But this is so cheesey it might well give you a heart attack. No amount of Patrick Dempsey viewing can redeem this atrocious waste of film.

He's Just Not That Into You. Scarlett Johanssen sends alarm bells ringing for me. That might mean I wind up being pelted with tomatoes, but really, she has huge hooties and acts the same in every. single. film. I mean she looks great, but she is a dud actress. Go on, throw a rotten tomato. I don't care. I'll stand by that. You go watch any of her films and you could mix and match her and you'd never notice a thing. NEVER!
And if I were Margaret and David, well I would absolutely give them a star rating, so here we go:
Made of Honour - * (that's one star)
He's Just Not That Into You - ** (that's two stars, only marginally better)
