Day 23:: Frocktober - Bam Bam!

Holy cow - what happened to this supremely crappy week. It got out of the wrong side of the calendar is what.

I totally missed the opportunity to go Bam Bam today. I totes should have rocked some bones in my hair and maybe said "Ugg" a few times. Damn it.

If I reach $5,500 by Friday 6:30am, I go to work as a 50s housewife. If I don't reach it, I just get to go to work as per normal, albeit in a frock.

So, like, maybe you might like to sponsor me

Day 9:: Frocktober - Dress or Top? Neither. It's A Frock.

Whoa Nelly! Today it's official - I went short and I can not move my arms very much for fear of flashing the world.

I haven't worn this dress for a long time. For fear of flashing the world. But it's so cute, and I love the print and the cut of its jib.

Just think of me today, I can't move much and refuse to go out for lunch - for fear of flashing the world. It's day 9 people. It's going to be a long day.

Dress: Gorman
Shoes: Habbot
Earrings: a gift from my sister
Tights: Country Road
Slip that is peeking out: Nancy Ganz (honestly it is)

Three Of The Best:: Flat Shoes For Winter

Every season I scope out the best shoes. In particular, I am always hunting down the best flat shoes, because let's be honest here, the old grey mare, she ain't what she used to be - and I don't want to wear heels to work every day and hobble home. Mainly because no one will give a brass razoo and I'll be left to limp around the house feeling sorry for myself.

So for this very reason flat shoes are my favourites. But I'm not talking clumpy, dumpy, frumpy flats. No siree. I've hand-picked three of my favourites for the season that will have you bang on trend and still feeling super comfortable (but no one needs to know that, ok?).

left to right:
Habbot Polka Dot in Pale Pink (currently on sale) $190:: When I was small I used to sneak into my Mum's wardrobe and try on these most divine white leather flats. I loved them. I thought I was Minnie Mouse. And this is where I am going with these. I just love them. Those oversized gold embellishments are just the right amount of va-va-voom I need to be a modern day Minnie.

Country Road Delia Slipper $129:: I saw Michelle Jank walk past me today - wearing shoes just like these. If anyone was to give fashion a blessing, Michelle's your girl. Get these on your feet, pronto.

Gorman Spotted Pony Hi Top $189:: Be still my beating heart. I love sneaks. Do not repeat this, but if I could live in sneaks, I would love to. And I'm not talking Jerry Seinfeld sneaks. These sneaks speak to me. In sneak speak. I'm a fluent conversationalist.

Which would you wear?
