Get Your 'Butt Over Here: Giveaway - Kimya Dawson & Friends

So I told you a while ago that I'd be running a giveaway. You might have been thinking, yes, well we'll see what she wants to give us. Maybe you thought it was going to be a banana skin from the bin? Perhaps that creepy little Laura Palmer doll that has now taken up residence at my sister's house (though she doesn't yet know it)?

Nope. You're wrong. Wrong. Wrong again.

This is such an exciting giveaway.

My good friend over at Popfrenzy has given me six copies of Kimya Dawson's: Alphabutt.
If you don't know about Kimya Dawson, well you really should. She's super good. Clever. Witty. A funny, talented, guitar strumming chick. Perhaps you recognise her name from this movie?
Alphabutt is a great mix of songs to please your smalls and make them laugh (and yourself - hey I listen to it all the time).
****************
For a chance to win one of the six CDs please leave a comment on this post. In your comment please tell me what your favourite song was when you were small.
Mine - Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite. Well I had many, but this one always made my imagination go wild.
I'll be drawing the winners on Tuesday 2nd December. Plenty of time for you to enter, yes? Alas my dear readers, this is for Australian readers only (sorry).
*******************
Psssst! Pop on over to Popfrenzy for plenty more musical inspiration - you might just get some cool Christmas ideas.

how weird is it that i can't remember liking any particular song until i was about five and would beg my older sister to play "Money (That's what I want)" by the Flying Lizards over and over and over again at top volume. i'm sure my mom loooooved that.

our grade three teacher used to get us to sing "it's still rock and roll to me". It was my favorite because as i was a loud child i would do impersonations of elvis to make the kids laugh, and it was the only time i didnt get in trouble for it x

Back in primary school, I loved the ABC broadcast that played over a huge speaker in the classroom. I always remember 'Flea, Flea Fly, Flea Fly Flo.....' and shocked my kids that I knew all the words to this wacky song they recently learnt at school!

Now when I saw Get your butt over here I was sure that the giveaway was going to be an enema kit!

My favourite song as a kid would have to have been Abba's Money, Money, Money. I remember it being played over the loud speaker at school on the day it was released. Très excitement!

My favorite was "I'm Really Rosie" by Carol King. That kid has sass!

Is it horrible that I am entering your giveaway when I haven't sent you your giveaway yet? I can't think what it should be?!!! But it's a comin'.

And for the record, I was hoping your giveaway would be something from the bin. (but not the enema thingie)

My sista tells me I should get this album.
We have a classic family video of me at the age of 4 or 5 dancing and singing to 'Fame'. I still enjoy belting out the tunes on the soundtrack while driving every now and then.
I love outing myself with a good giveaway- thanks.
