Of course on the last day of Frocktober for the year, I have to go out with a bang. So why not do three frocks in one day? Why not I ask you.
Here's the first for the morning - an Obus frock (Chazal dress) featuring a Malcolm de Chazal inspired artwork. It's pretty freaking awesome, huh???
You can still sponsor me here, believe it or not.

Frocktober 2015: Day 30 - Obus Goodness
Probably one of my favourites from the whole month, this Obus beauty is picture perfect. I love the modern take on a shirt dress. SO freaking awesome.
Frocktober. Still frocking.

Frocktober 2015: Day 29 - Natashya Manfield - Technicolour Love
It's big love with this frock that's high on colour. It's the fit, the cut and the design that has my heart swooning.
The super clever Natashya Manfield crafted it - alas I believe right now she's ditched fashion to pursue law.
That just seems almost criminal.
Frocktober. Frock on!

Frocktober 2015: Day 28 - Colour Play by Fabrik
What would be the best way to say hoorah, so long and see you later to my fourth year participating in Frocktober?
Big colour.
And that's exactly what this Fabrik Belle Dress does. AYE CARUMBA!
This is THE go-to dress for steamy summer days. Toss it on and away you go. No accessorising required, easy peasy. And I love the Louvelle turban paired with it for a little extra glamour.
Plus if you're breastfeeding - this is a winner!
And if you're still thinking about sponsoring me, I know, I know - you've heard it all before - but here's the obligatory link. We're so close to the end, I can almost taste it.

Frocktober 2015: Day 26 - Easy Monday
I had today off from work and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!
I got to make lunch for my kids. Drop my kids off to school. Get some jobs done. Pick up my kids. Make dinner. Be a mum. BEST DAY EVER!!
And I wore this super easy little gingham smock-style frock - winning at life.
You can sponsor me here. Go on, I know you want to.

Frocktober 2015: Day 25 - It Is Easy Being Green
Sunday and the living is easy. Or whatever that saying is.
Today in Little Tienda marks the point that in a week - Frocktober 2015 will be all over red rover. PHEW!
My fourth year has perhaps been the trickiest. But I am so grateful to all of my sponsors - thank you to each and every one of you!!
And if you haven't had a chance to sponsor me yet - please do! No matter what size the donation, I will be so grateful! Donate a takeaway coffee - I'll be completely stoked.
All donations are tax deductible and go to Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Frocktober 2015: Day 24 - Pink Lady
It was steamy on the weekend - phew! Zoo-wee mama! So it was time to crack out one of my all-time favourite vintage frocks. My pink as a musk stick frock. I love this one.
It does have a matching belt, but do you think I could find it on Saturday morning? Nope. Which is actually fine because I kind of like the mash up with my tan plaited leather belt, the pink and my Converse. Classic.
There's still time to sponsor me, still time to help me raise money for ovarian cancer research.
There's no early detection test. A pap smear won't do. So that's what I'm hustling for.
Please sponsor me today. All money goes to Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Frocktober 2015: Day 23 - OLE!
Everything's peachy keen my friends. Well actually it's not. Because it's freaking cold in Sydney and I've only got one more warm dress left. What's happened to this weather?
Yesterday I wore a white dress, and had to walk home in the cold rain. This is a recipe for... near nudity in suburbia.
And this is also known as dedication to the cause.
If you sponsor me this Frocktober (my fourth) you'll be helping me raise money for research into ovarian cancer. All money raised goes to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
And it's tax deductible, which means more frocks for you.
What's not to like?
Sponsor me today. Please! Pretty please!

Frocktober 2015: Day 22 - Cleopatra - a milestone
I set the challenge - if we hit $3.5k by the end of the day I would commute home on a peak hour train as Cleopatra.
Well guess what motherfrockers - we did it!!!
So I rode for an hour on the peak hour train, with a stopover at Town Hall station and a platform change - it was such a pain in the asp!
Please do sponsor me - the average age of ovarian cancer diagnosis is 63. One in 90 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her lifetime. Together we can change these statistics and help fund an early detection test.
And HUGE thanks to those who have sponsored me already. You guys ROCK!

Frocktober 2015: Day 21 - Leopard. The perfect neutral
'As far as I'm concerned leopard is a neutral' - Jenna Lyons
It is. I love a bit of leopard print. Perfect for workwear, perfect for wearing out on a hot date.
It's day 21. If you're going to sponsor me, please do! Don't be shy. Any amount is awesome.

Frocktober 2015: Day 19 - Red and Blue.
Today I looked at someone wearing a t-shirt with contempt and jealousy.
It's day 19 of Frocktober. I've worn 21 different frocks. And I am pining for jeans and a t-shirt. PINING LIKE CRAZY!
This Nancybird silk shift from last year is one of my all-time favourites. The colours are punchy, the pattern is bold and the cut is bang on perfect.
Lucky I have this on, otherwise I would have been destined for downtown Meltdown Town.

Frocktober 2015: Day 18 - Cruisy Sunday
Matt and I had a cheeky sleepover at QT Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, dinner out, drinks out, kid-free - wowsers! In the morning we went walking the streets of Darlinghurst as we did pre-kids.
Coffee in hand, we meandered, house-spotting, lingering in Ariel bookshop, talking about 'the olden days'.
It was lovely.
The air had a slight chill to it, but it was that type of life-affirming breeze that feels good.
We walked, coffee in one hand, my husband's hand in the other, and talked.
This is day 18.

Frocktober 2015: Day 17 - Little Tienda
Day 17 and it's time for a Little Tienda sweet action. Comfortable, stylish and perfect - so perfect for this hot weather. WOO!
Em generously donated $3 per shared shot on Instagram of beauties wearing their Little Tienda frocks using the tag #frockthatcancer. We raised $198 - going straight to Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
But it's only day 17, and we're not done yet! Please if you can donate a small amount, any amount to my fundraising, I will love you long time, and so will my ovaries.

Frocktober 2015: A little frocking help from my frocking friends
Doing Frocktober is a lot of frocking work. It might not seem that way, it includes:
a) frocking up
b) getting a photo of me every single day for 31 days (cue awkward poses)
c) documenting it
d) getting people to sponsor me
e) thinking up themes
f) doing YouTube tutorials for said themes
g) getting up early enough to do said tutorials and get ready -
it's demanding. And this year has been exceptionally tough given I've started a new job and it is super duper busy. (of course the kick back is huge, over the last four years I have raised over $20K).
But I've got my game face on. Let's do this.
To my delight, this afternoon I took a peek at Facebook and discovered my former colleagues all frocked up in my honour - including some men. My goodness. You don't even know how much this touched me! IT TOUCHED ME! It totally made my day. In fact I just feel a bit wired still.
They raised money, they dressed up the drinks trolley (yes you read right) with my pom poms and they did Frocktober frocking proud.
Thank you my friends! Thank you!!
And here's today's frock. I almost forgot to document it. But it's one of my all-time favourites, by Obus.
Sponsor me here, I need to hit the high notes next week, and there'll be a reward.

Frocktober 2015: Day 13 - Vintage and made by my Mum (a guide to awkward poses)
Frocktober is not just about the frocks. It actually becomes a month-long marathon of awkward poses.
My case in point? See above.
It's often been the case that when having my frock documented - how awkward it is to move your limbs so you don't look like a giant goofball. My case in point? See below.
This is what I call my Kate Middleton pose.
Composed. Hand holding. Restrained.
This is known as the 'I don't know what to do, so I'll just do this ironic Charleston manoeuvre and hopefully not dislocate my knee'.
Why don't you try some of these poses yourself? Given I can do them, they're really quite easy to employ.
And the main reason you're here is for the dress. My Mum made it many, many years ago and I love wearing it for that reason. It was made by her, for her. And Matt calls it 'iconic Lexi'. It's something I wore regularly when we first met.
PS Please sponsor me. Awkward poses and all.

Frocktober 2015: Day 12 - Birdsnest Flair - flown the coop
Today was a beautiful day. Mostly so because I got to wear this frock from Birdsnest and I felt a million bucks.
Fit and flare, it's the ultimate feminine cut that's easy to throw on and needs very little accessorising. That palette is - MWAH! So good.
Those beautiful birds in Cooma held their own special day to raise money for Frocktober - thank you my beauties! Thank you!
If you'd like to sponsor me, and I would love it if you did, you can do so here.
All donations go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. You can play a role in kicking ovarian cancer to the kerb.
